Skyward sword is a bad thing?

Ok, I get it, the cut scenes where longer than the game play, and the controls can be iffy sometimes, but overall, I liked the game, and I don't understand why so many people don't like it at all, the story was pretty good, and lets face it, loftwings are the coolest things ever and I want one! IT CAN'T BE THAT BAD YOU GUYS
