The Sky World and the Sky People are not terms made up in James Cameron Avatar movies.

The Sky World (Karonhia:ke) comes from Haudenosaunee and our stories.

We say we come from the Sky People, from Skywoman (Atsi’tsiaka:ion), her Little Daughter Lynx (Tako'skó:wa), from her twin sons, Sapling (Hahgwehdiyu) who made the sun, and Flint (Hahgwehdaetgah) who was birthed through her armpit and made the moon.

Secret Origins of the Mohawk Folklore of Kahhori in Marvel Comics!

Strange Tales (vol. 3) #1 (1994) shows the mythological origin of the world as told by the Keewazi Tribe of Oklahoma. It describes how Manitou, the Great Spirit, emerged from the Sky World known as Giizhigong and created light. But when this light created an evil shadow of Manitou known as KhLΘG that sought to undo everything Manitou had created, it was banished.

In Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #25 (1990), the Native American mischief spirit Nanabozho gathered a coalition of indigenous gods intent on punishing Europeans for their treatment of the native population and desecration of the sacred land that jeopardized the stability of Orenda, the spiritual energy which existed within the inhabitants and environment of Giizhigong. When the hunting spirit Owayodata and his mortal champion Red Wolf refused to help, Nanabozho took them to Giizhigong for punishment, where they were rescued by Dr. Strange.

Thor & Hercules: Encyclopaedia Mythologica #1 (2009) explained that the Sky World of Giizhigong was connected to the Earth realm via interdimensional portals hidden across the North American continent, and that the Manidoog (the god-like spirits revered by the indigenous population) utilized the mystical energy of Giizhigong known as Orenda to perform a variety of superhuman feats!

Marvel Studios' "What If?..." Season 2, Episode 6, "What If Kahhori Reshaped the World?" (2023) explored an alternate reality where the Tesseract housing the Space Stone arrived on Earth in the 16th century and enchanted a lake in Haudenosaunee Territory. A young Mohawk woman named Kahhori falls into the lake and finds herself transported to Sky World, a heavenly realm much like Giizhigong where the inhabitants appear to use a mystical power in the environment similar to Orenda to perform superhuman feats like super speed, element manipulation, and energy projection!

Klaudileria

An illusive relative of the Clusteria, the Klaudileria was first discovered in a cloud pocket at the gate between the Storm Dimension and Sky Buddy World. Since then, it has been surmised that the plant prefers to grow in areas like this where it will have more access to diffuse light than it would in the deeper, stormier parts of its home dimension.

The fruits have a cloudy, foamy texture, full of moisture. When crossbred with Clusteria, they take on a more fruity taste while keeping their foamy, moist texture.

Explains a few things about Sky Bound and Pit, + Sky world

First paragraph:

Pit’s eyes where blue during Uprising because of Palutena’s magical presents being constant. His eyes returned to normal after Hades’ destruction.

Second paragraph:

Pit’s freckles where a gift from the Zodiacs(it was all we wanted besides food). Pittoo’s eyes changed as a gift from the gods (he asked his eyes to be like Pit’s)

And a bit about Sky World.

In the north there is Palutena’s temple, training grounds and weapon shops, also Pit’s house! His house in connected to the back of Palutena’s temple attacked by a bridge.

In the west is mostly shops and restaurants and a few houses above shops.

In the east there is mostly houses and an animal park.

In the south is businesses, like not shop ones and armories. And FLYING GROUNDS. Aka where baby angels learn to fly and others like to mess around and play games.

In the central is a Colosseum battle thingy, a lot of angels enjoy battling for sport (The online battles). There’s also a huge stage because shows and stuff and plays. That stuff.

There’s also islands floating between each district that hold random things like farms and metal working places. They are a put a bit more because of noise.

Pit can’t get around well and there are not many bridges but he mainly goes to the West and North so we doesn’t mind very much. The west and north have many bridges due to Pit aswell as the east as small children run around there who don’t have 100% control of their wings when flying.
