Apparently this is circling Reddit and I don’t use Reddit so idk who made it, but @/Chandsess shared it on twitter! Very helpful imo

The fact that I need them to be endgame x I swear if they kill him off—
Echo & Orlando
I wanted to make a post about basically whether I think Echo was right to betray Orlando. It might sound like a simple no considering they spent four years together in skyring but to me it’s more complicated then that.
So right off the top the deal was he’d help them under the circumstances of them not killing anyone unless absolutely necessary. Already we know Orlando is not 100% on their side, he doesn’t plan on sticking with them he only plans on helping them escape skyring and get their friends back to sanctum. Orlando does say he will miss them but he is clear on not wanting to join them on sanctum.
Now almost immediately the plan changes when one of the disciples tries to kill Echo and Hope kills her instead. I will say I think Hope could’ve stopped the disciple in another way for example tackling her to the ground or stabbing her in the leg but I understand why she went for the kill considering what happened with Dev.
Based on Orlando’s reaction to Hope killing a disciple alone I already agree with Echo. I mean if he was already acting like letting Echo die would’ve been better what would’ve happened on Bardo if it came down to his people or Echo, Hope and Gabriel?
After seeing that Orlando knew all of the disciples she starts killing them all claiming that if they leave them alive Orlando will tell them everything. That would’ve been a incredible risk considering he not only knew there plan but he supposedly knew all about sanctum, earth and all about them and the people they cared about.
Echo believed that Orlando would betray them because even though they were his friends they were not his people. I agree with her for a lot of reasons actually. For starters Orlando left a note where he did tell his people all about the years he spent with them. We can’t know what exactly he wrote but right there he betrayed them, to be fair we can’t know if he would’ve done this if Echo hadn’t betrayed him first but I personally think he would have. Also once on Bardo the group finds out that there were things Orlando didn’t tell them during their years together.
This is why I think Echo was definitely right in what she did. I do think Orlando would have betrayed them once he was back on Bardo.
