Listen, listen, listen. These two are the cutest things ever. They're super sweet and adorable. Maps is the newest canon Robin, and a student at Gotham Academy who always manages to get into the most insane mysteries and situations as a student. Damian is the current Robin. Damian has shown up in Gotham Academy a couple times and his first issue in the series was LITERALLY THEIR HANDS GETTING GLUED TOGETHER BY MAGIC AND THEM BEING FORCED TO HOLD HANDS ALL DAY! (Also Damian gave her a batarang to keep after that <333) Then, in the yearbook issues, Damian stole Maps' yearbook and led her on a wild goose chase around campus (she loves hunting things down and solving puzzles btw so she actually enjoyed it) just so her could eventually leave it in a tree for her to find along with a persent of a FIRST EDITION COPY OF THE SERPANTS AND SPELLS HANDBOOK (DC's version of DnD, which Maps is obsessed with). Then, later on in second semester, there was this adorable moment of them defending Wayne Manor together, and Damian letting Maps have a sword to use because she was so fascinated by it, then after they beat the raiders, he sneaks out in his Robin costume to give her the book she needed from the Wayne family vaults and gives her a Robin mask, telling her to go save the city. They're just adorable. Damian has to have like the biggest crush on Maps and she's also a Robin and she's such a huge fan of Batman and Robin. They're such golden retriever x black cat energy and they're super cute <3333
i want them like less than 10 fics about them to get exposure. theyre so good i dont care that it'll never happen. peak smushing dolls together to make em kiss dynamic in those fics to me. i keep forgetting to go back but when i do im gonna give thos authors a big smacking kiss in the comments. straight up never fails to make me remember that one time slade showed up in the 90's gl book almost like 3 issues pre-parallax and i wnet "wtf are you doing here? it's not hal's mental breakdown time yet? does bro think he's part of the rogues gallery or smthn" and thats just excellent to me man.
