I was having my 'i woke up too early so lemme daydream about stuff I wanna write but never will' time, right?
Thinking about something where Johnny tones down his Scottish-ness on the field to avoid accidents, but on leave his accent gets so heavy no one understands him.
So obviously I was thinking up the line "His carefully practiced 'no's become his natural 'nae's"
But then my brain went "his 'no's become 'neighs'"
And from there it all fell apart...
"his 'no's become neighs, his practiced and disciplined military diet becomes full of carrots and oats, even his usual workout routine is all but replaced with running! He becomes a horse. John MacTavish is a horse. This is not a metaphor, nor a shifter/hybrid situation. This human man just becomes a literal horse (again not a metaphor) on leave."
...I think I need more sleep...
