Just some lil pics of middle schooler Makoto to start things off before I eventually drop the whole cast. They are all open to some character design edits since it's basically regular Makoto but shorter and blazerless. But, for now, I will just show them. Don't wanna overcomplicate it. But, just a reminder. Tis a lil thought experiment here and character lore is all still the same for the most part! The little middle schooler hell-spawns are all just in the killing game. Or hmmm... A part of me also wants to imagine this as like, if Danganronpa was a kids show too. Like, that's also where my brain is thinking about the whole AU concept I have for Kiddieronpa. Who knows. Maybe, in due time I might even change the name of the AU here? Not sure. Diggity dang it! DUNNO ANYMORE T-T Am questioning myself again. Womp womp. Maybe there can be two or just multiple versions of this AU though. One where the story is just the what-if thought experiment I initially had it to be with the Trigger Happy Cast in the killing game as middle schoolers and how things would play out. Or, maybe another version could be where yeah, still a situation where the gang is in the killing game but like, no one actually dies? So like, just think of Total Drama Island here. Like, the two franchises are lowkey compared to one another like that so might as well. Or, another could just be like, the school mode. Cus why not. Let's just have Monokuma do some casual child labor/hj But yeah. Either I boost the angst factor on hyperdrive, make this more silly, or some mixture. Cus, like, Kyoko and Byakuya are just standing their with their fresh childhood trauma and I can't just ignore them! Also, Makoto's secret in chapter two was that he wet the bed until 5th grade, at least in the localization. So like, he's a middle schooler. The guy is still fresh from that and I am convinced that like, something was up or like, I dunno! Maybe he just had some reoccurring nightmares or... health problems. Though, anyway, there are some things I dunno what to do with yet. At least for the killing game idea like, there is one character that just makes me wonder and think of what I'm gonna do for them. And it's Mukuro. Just Mukuro. Like, she'd be a child soldier this time around like dang. Though, the world of Danganronpa hasn't been known to be a safe or ethical one sooooo yeah! I guess it doesn't help that Byakuya is my main loser so, in terms of character lore, I know 97% Byakuya's lore while everyone else is around 60% or lower. i really needta work on that O-O

Here’s a bit of lore about your village….

The village itself is isn’t necessarily ..dangerous. It’s a main vein to a nearby kingdom. Many travelers and kingdoms go through Roses Bud in order to get to said kingdom. So danger — though it isn’t common — is to be expected when you have so much activity.

I want to say more but I have to wait for you guys to learn about it in the IF 😤

So, what exactly is MC's status in the village? Are they some sort of pariah? Are they well liked? Neutral? How much sway do they have? If they have any at all? Do we have a family? Were we always a seamstress? I just wanna know the mc a bit more tbh

And also, does the fact we're a seamstress matter at all in game? I wanna make clothes for people and talk about fashion in a critical sense for God's sake.

Ok these are already a lotta questions but also maybe can u talk about what kind or personalities we can have and if they'll be acknowledged in game?

Okay so I’m gonna answer these questions one at a time and label them as I do.

MC asks;

MCs status in the village; The MC is well known in the village as most people come to you for clothing to be fixed or for something to be made. Your status will start as neutral and as you make choices it will vary from good and bad.

Dose the MC have family? Yes! You guys do indeed have a family you can choose either you want to be close to them or not. I want you guys to decide If you want a relationship it’s your parents or just to be distant from them. In the prologue you can decide the genders of your parents as well. You are a single child but the children of the village are practically your siblings.

Was the MC always a seamstress? One of your parents has taught you how to sew when you were a child. Which inspired your career. I think I may also add that you could’ve had a past job if your MC wants to but I can’t decide yet.

Story asks;

Dose the fact that you’re a seamstress matter in the game? Yes it does. For a reference on how it affects the gameplay is you’d have steady hands and very focused eyes as you’d have to have those factors in order to do your job. In one of the platonic routes with someone to yet be introduced, you can talk to her about fashion and other things.

What kind of personalities will be in the game and will they be acknowledged? You can be stoic, easygoing, kind, hot headed, obvious and more I can’t think of at the moment. They will be acknowledged! For an example if you are hot headed you’d clash with S. If your stoic you’d get along mildly with M. If your kind B would love to be around you. That’s how your personality would work in a sense.

ive noticed this in a few asks and tried to search for any info on it but tumblr search sucks so im sorry if youve talked about this before but why do the characters say lapis lazuli in place of swears?

Its totally okay! I would be so surprised if there was actual info on the subject.

The reason some characters say that is because Lapis Lazuli is actually what they consider a god in their world. A bit of lore on the subject here, they weren't a very kind god to their people.

So many people use their name as a swear or vulgar term in oder to disgrace them.

Many other, I guess stones are considered gods/goddess as many view it as they where here first. So people worshiped them as a form of respect!

Though I don't want to spoil my story I feel like I should give you guys a bit of context! :)
