in case you were wondering, this is just how stunted jimmy's wing growth is; most canary avians have wings large enough to fly unless they're notably overweight or something.

Grassvelin

I put this one off for long enough XD

Grass is the partner of Thamyris and is part earth dragon. As as such he has only tiny wings unsuitable to carry him (pureblooded earth dragons have tortoise/turtle like shells instead of wings and can burrow very fast due to their shorter but stronger claws as well as their shovel like horns). If he wants to fly, he has to use dragon-magic and has to constantly sing. While Grass likes to do just that, he can't fly for very long distances as it's too taxing for him (and he gets easily hoarse). To mitigate this Thamyris has build an airship for him, so they can travel through the world.

Grassvelin is also the major supplier of gems for Nelvinorr (despite being not so keen on wearing jewellery himself) and has taken a liking to the southern human nations of the setting.
