Felt like adding one last member to the Snow Blades to really round out the rainbow, Snow Shield! I think I’ll incorporate his late addition into the story of how he became a team member as well, as his more technological approach clashes with the more traditionally minded members of the group, especially Snow Blade, so he ends up having a lot to prove at the start.

He maintains a cool persona, but in truth is the one who worries about the group’s well-being the most, acting as their medic and weapon upgrade specialist later on. He used to be the tactician only on the sidelines, but after losing his last team and feeling powerless to help them from afar, Snow Shield vowed to always be on the battlefield.

He’s the most armoured of all of them, yet he also refuses to take off his lab coat. If it ever comes off in combat, you know it’s about to get real! Due to his assumed lack of agility with his large shield, he is often targeted as the weakest member by enemies, but very rarely do they expect his shield’s bladed edges. He may not be able to move as fast as the others, but an attacker can meet their end just as quickly.

I’ll expand on it more in other drawings (I went with the front view again here so I could add him to the lineup I made prior), but he also has smaller disc-like shields under his coat that he can throw to protect someone from afar, or to slice something like a bladed frisbee. Overall The Snow Blades are a really fun concept to draw, so I’m excited to do more with them later on! ^_^ Previous version of the lineup here

New next gen alert! Meet Snow Shield, the son of Cadence and Shining Armor. He takes after his father so much from looks to wanting to be a part of the Crystal Guard. He will ramble on about how you should join either the Royal or Crystal Guards with such enthusiasm that it can appear to be scary at times. He does take his job seriously though as he is very protective of his family and friends.
