- Tries to muffle coughs and sneezes with his arms, sometimes his knees (curls himself into a ball)

V/ox hcs yes okay, silly pathetic TV man lemme think,
uhh tbh i think he'd have a pretty loud sneeze, lil sparks probably come off of him when he sneezes too. he WANTS to be able to stifle, but can't.
his screen will do that rainbow static thing that tvs will do when an error occurs-
gets fevers pretty often just from overheating yknow, will ALWAYS get a very bad fever if like. infected with some kind of computer virus.
he's definitely like. a very whiny/clingy type when sick tbh. won't deny that he's ill, would mostly just wanna stay in bed and have everyone else do stuff for him 24/7.
...can a TV have allergies??? not really but like certain Signals and stuff or like. dust/dirt in his fans/vents or WHATEVER HE HAS could be enough to set him off... when he was alive he probably had some allergy or another and even though it doesn't ACTUALLY effect him anymore the thought of "this thing makes me sneeze" is so ingrained into him he'll still sneeze because of it hsdlfkjsldk
...actually upon saying that last bit. making V/ox a sympathy sneezer (aka, very VERY suggestible to the point that hearing someone else sneeze could be enough to set him off) would be RIDICULOUSLY funny so that's canon to him now-

- REALLY bad pollen/spring allergies. from like april to july he's totally suffering, eyes watery and red-rimmed, nose chapped and angrily scarlet
- a flower i think he'd be especially sensitive to is may night salvia (ill put a picture of it right at the bottom of this post) which just happens to probably be one of i/nej's favourites (she'd also possibly (probably) use it to tease him because it's so slender and long and AH)
- he also definitely sometimes forgets to close the window before he goes to bed, so then he wakes up feeling like his head is stuffed with cotton wool and it's only a matter of moments before he's sneezing in fits
- pollen sneezes are usually messy and harsh, practically unstifleable (definitely not a real word) so he has to muffle them as best as he can into his elbow (or freely into the air if he's alone and desperate enough)
- dust allergy too!! anything from dusty books to closets to vents will set him off. and he's VERY embarrassed of it
- his dust sneezes are very itchy-sounding, usually pretty pitchy (some would describe them as rather cute.), and they're easier to stifle than his pollen sneezes. often, he ends up in rapid dust fits during which the sneezes just sort of burst out of him in quick succession and he just absolutely can't get a hold of himself
- he definitely frequently has the two sneezes in one breath thing, a kinda "haAHH'ISSHHh-ISCHHhiew!" each time
- ugh the RAIN makes him sneeze too. or just generally being soaking wet. so getting out of the shower into the cold definitely teases a few sneezes out of him until he's dried off
- he can definitely be counted on to get at least one cold every winter. it started with a mildly sore and sensitive throat, then progresses to mild congestion, sniffles, and light headaches, and then it'll be pure exhaustion, wracking fits of sneezing and coughing, and the occasional fever and/or migraine. poor guy.
- cold sneezes are wet wet wet !! they're loud too, which he hates but he really can't help the volume :( he tries to stifle them but it makes his head hurt so he usually has to avoid it. so much for dark and mysterious if you can't even stifle a sneeze amirite
- i saw a post (might have reblogged it?) that had a dialogue prompt thing that was like "you can't get three feet from a box of kleenex without sneezing" and i just think that is SO i/nej to k/az when he's got a particularly sneezy cold. he probably has to either shove a load of tissues in his pockets or just carry the box around with him because he can't seem to stop sneezing
- i also love the image of him trying to focus on picking a lock and getting gradually more and more frustrated because he keeps having to duck to the side to sneeze heavily (itchy for no reason type beat)

THE WAY HE SNEEZES
-Multiples, 1-3 but usually at least 2
-Sneezes unreliable amount of times
-Like a fairly hitched build up but not absurdly long
-Grabs his handkerchief well in advance and usually excuses himself through the hitching breaths
-Excuses himself beforehand and will like put his finger up and turn to the side into his handkerchief well in advance
-Anthony will only excuse himself if it’s obvious he’s about to sneeze/he has sneezed, otherwise he tries not to draw attention to himself unless his in a conversation and talking he will; but it’s often obvious (big buildups)
-The first sneeze is almost always an -ish and the last one is always -shhiew
-He’ll hitch a lot and then have one slightly bigger in take of breath and then “hih’ish! Oh excuse me-eh heh-isshiew!”
-“Hhh’iiIESHh-IhhhhiISHHiew”i think is the loudest it gets when he’s having a fit
-Like “ihihh’ITshiew!”
-VERY good at stifling
-Stifles = near silent unless sick
-Stifles are still pretty well contained but make a little more sound when he’s sick
-Like “ihhih-mmptsh!”
-Can stifle silently hands-free but they’re hella forceful
-He’d rock forward a lot or if standing sway forward a lot
-Very obvious physically but very silent
-Can still stifle during an allergy fit but they’re more aggressive
-Turns slightly to the side into the handkerchief and snaps very subtly to the side into handkerchief
-Very subtle movement for him maybe mostly from the chest up. Sharp movement
-Too rigid to move a ton
-Sneezes don’t ever get too much louder but around an allergen they can get really desperate and his buildups get more vocal
SICK :
-More consonants appear in his sneezes and he gets maybe stuffier if he’s sick or allergic
-When sick he sneezes more times in one go
-When sick he has more intense buildups that can start a shorter amount of time before the sneeze and can catch him off guard; only a couple seconds before the sneeze instead of giving him time to get ready; he knows he’s gonna sneeze when the audible buildup starts; and a sharper inhale instead of like wavering breaths
-Sometimes he does not enough time to get his handkerchief out for the first sneeze and has to muffle them into his elbow when sick
-If Anthony gets sick from Colin and he sees Colin sneeze into his hands he screams at him; daphne would definitely have a word with him after
-Anthony might have a breakdown if he’s sick bc he’d feel so stressed and overwhelmed but not well enough to do anything and he’d feel stuck and useless
-Anthony usually gets a very hoarse voice from being sick and he gets frustrated easily and he tries to yell but it’s not working and the siblings r laughing and he wants 2 cry
-Anthony w a stomach bug trying to make it thru a meal w the fam and running out halfway through to get sick
-Like he’s quiet all dinner and barely even picking at his food; and maybe Eloise is like “Anthony what is wrong why are you merely shoving your food around your plate?” and he opens his mouth to respond and then is like nope bad idea gotta go
-Or him leaving the middle of dinner outside in their garden to have a fit😌
-Daphne hears him stop retching and knocks on the door and goes, “Are you all right?” And he just snaps, “WHAT DO YOU THINK?”
-He prob just wants his back rubbed while he gets sick😞
-Daphne is the only one in the family that can deal with him when he’s sick bc he’s such a bitch
-He’s prob SO mean to Violet when he’s sick
-Literally CANNOT deal with Eloise when he’s sick
-Anthony prefers being at the club when he’s sick or with siena
-Someone telling Anthony he “looks like he needs help” with something when he’s sick he would get furious he’d be like “excuse me? i look like i WHAT???”
-“I most certainly do not require help from the likes of you, _______”
-Someone brings him a handkerchief and he’s like what is this and they’re like “you sounded like you needed it” and he’s like fucjing excuse me
-Anthony likes not being around ppl when he’s sick but only when it’s on his own terms
-Like if his mom suggests he eat in his room to avoid contagion he’d be so pissed off
-Doesn’t want them to eat dinner without them cause he’s worried they’ll talk shit abt him the whole time
-Anthony feeling nauseous at one of the balls or events or whatever and trying to keep talking to someone but he’s so uncomfortable and trying so hard to be respectful but he just has to like beat it out of there
-Anthony coming home from the club late and drunk as hell with a bad cold that he stayed at the club all day hiding from the fam but Eloise is reading as he goes to get water or something before bed
-Or he stumbles in super loud and knocks something over and Eloise thinks someone is breaking in but it’s just Anthony and he’s feverish and drunk and a mess
-Or Daphne wanting to get a glass of milk like in that one episode and stumbling into drunk and sick Anthony and he panics at first but then realizes it’s Daphne and like actually lets himself be sick around her
BEHAVIOR ABOUT OTHERS BEING ILL
-Anthony is one of those people where he thinks everyone (esp Colin) is faking sick or exaggerating being sick until he realizes they have a fever; then he doesn’t express it but for a split second this look of guilt and affection crosses his face esp in his eyes
-He is grumpy but he truly does care about his siblings; he’s so hard on them until he realizes he’s making it worse
-Def harder on Colin bc he’s the youngest & he is low-key/high-key angry he has less responsibilities
-Maybe Anthony gets pissed that when Colin gets sick he can sit everything out but Anthony still had some responsibilities even when he’s unwell
-Anthony is pretty strict abt heading the house and all and daphne usually takes care of everyone, but when it’s just him alone with someone who’s sick or if he suspects one of his siblings is sick he’d feel their forehead with the back of his hand
-He’d say “do you feel feverish?” And then do it
-If Siena was sick around him she’d probably deny it at first or say she’s fine and not that badly off but with her he’s comfortable enough that he’d immediately feel for a fever without saying anything
-He’d probably do the cheek touch with her 🥺
-I imagine the first few times siena is sick around him he tries to keep his distance but maybe she asks to check her for a fever and he does and he just can’t get enough of the appreciative look she gives him when he finally gives in and he realizes all he wants to do is make her feel better
-The first time it happens they’ve just had sex and Siena is like “ugh, i feel rather unwell” or like says she’s coming down with something she thinks and Anthony is like “whAt???? you’re telling me this AFTER we fucked????” and then he panics about getting sick and she gets pissed bc she’s not feeling well and then he feels bad but still isn’t willing to get close to her bc he is scared of getting sick AND he has no idea what to do so he paces the room while trying to think of something to do that can help without him having to get too close to her and then Siena’s like you know what just go home; leave me be. Then he feels bad and does and he doesn’t see her for a few days and then he starts coming down with whatever she had and then avoids her even more and then once he’s better he goes to her and apologizes and is like I am so sorry all I wanted while I was ill was you by my side I understand that now bla bla bla
-But Siena definitely says she’s “okay” or just a bit sick when she has a fever tho and he can see thru that
KINK
-Siena has the kink
-At first Anthony’s uncomfortable with it but then he gets into it; once he knows siena has the kink he prob exaggerates his buildups around her
-FALSE STARTS!
-holds back intentionally around Siena to bother her

-First sneeze while using it takes a little while to build just for the chhinkni to settle in his nose and cause a reaction but after that he has little to no buildups

-Benedict walks in on Siena inducing him one day and from then on whenever Anthony sneezes Benedict moans to tease him or gives him a funny look

-Benedict gets bad hot & cold flashes when he has a fever
-He prefers being at those artist parties when he’s sick bc no one judges him for being a little sloppy
-Usually does not complain or bother anyone when he’s sick and just takes care of it by himself and stays in his room but no one is really aware of it bc it happens so frequently he doesn’t care to make a big deal
-If he’s really really sick he might finally snap at someone to shut up or something which is how you know it’s really bad
-Maybe if Anthony was being a dick to him and telling him he’s not unwell enough to do something Benedict would just shout at him and it would hurt his voice and Anthony would feel bad
-He’d take it for a while and maybe even stalk off but it would have to take a lot of repetition of Anthony getting under his skin for Benedict to be like, “For christ’s sake, Anthony! I AM UNWELL!!😭”
-Benedict saying he doesn’t feel well and Anthony being all like, “It is merely the dust settling. Go outside and get some air”; and basically tells Benedict to go outside into the cold when he’s sick

COLIN:
THE WAY HE SNEEZES
-Loooong buildups; not very audibly but very visual
-Expressive eyebrows
-Everyone gets secondhand embarrassed for Colin if he sneezes in public bc he tries to stifle but is bad at it
-Colin avoids blowing his nose in favor of sniffling until Anthony jabs him in the rib with his elbow
-Messy sounding

-Like a tiny tiny “ew” that’s very quiet at the end of last few
-Like maybe one very short hitchy breath if anything but mostly a silent and visual build up

-His stifles kinda push his body forward like since they somehow end up coming out stronger than he regular sneezes he snaps forward but not down if that makes sense

-Someone asks Colin if he’s ok and he’s like, “I’ve got a bit of a headache,” or whatever and Anthony rolls his eyes and is like, “Here we go.”
-Colin like being like “I’m gonna take a nap I feel kind of sick” or idk all British regency language
-“I’m going to lie down for a bit, I’m feeling a bit unwell” and asks to skip an event or a luncheon or something and Anthony is like,“Fine go sleep away the day while everyone else represents the family.” and then when they get back the maid is like, “He’s still sleeping don’t bother him I think he’s sick.” and Anthony’s like, “Yeah right,” and goes to Colins room and feels his forehead and is like, “oh…”
-Daphne trying to comfort Colin and like rubbing his back but he sneezes particularly cutely and she can’t help but do her snort laugh
RANDOM/SCENARIOS
-Runs cold

is incredibly good at stifling. H/usk does not approve of him doing so though.
surprisingly has a very good immune system? like I said in a previous post he gives caretaker vibes to some extent- i think he'd be like, the last in the group to fall sick in the case of contagion. when he's coming down with something he'll usually get a sore throat before anything else.
gives off a basic pollen allergy vibe- but also just cause i think it'd be funny he's also probably allergic to dust. (also i think a sensitivity to gunpowder could be fun?)
knows about the concept of snz kink, doesn't actually have it but would definitely indulge/mess with someone who does
usually only sneezes once, but has discovered that if he stifles in just the right way he'll sneeze three times. doesn't get fits very often, with the exception being when he's pretty sick.
