RANTING MORE ABOUT MY TWST AU

Now officially dubbed as "TWST 11 years later" au

(may be a bit ooc lol)

For generations, the Kingscholars has been going to RSA. Only Leona was the one who broke the cycle, he still got an invite to RSA but decided not to go cuz he knows he would be surrounded with his big bro's reputation at RSA.

I have seen fanart of Cheka in RSA but wouldn't it be funny if Cheka actually ends up going to NRC, he spent a lot of time visiting his uncle there and grew a liking to the school.

He would end up becoming a major spelldrive champion just like his uncle, becoming a great mage. And even if he was a carbon copy of his father at the looks department, he ends up copying Leona's mannerisms and becoming a sort of rebel just like him cuz he looks up to his uncle damn it and kids are so darn perceptive that even tho Leona tried to hide it Cheka still sees his struggles and issues and how ppl treat his uncle and so he stubbornly sticks to his uncle's corner and he loves him damn it

I would also like to add that whenever Cheka needs advice he either goes to his mother or uncle, but whenever he needs something that neither could provide he goes to Uncle Ruggie and Uncle Jack, who in an effort to not have Leona kill them usually goes along with Cheka's shenanigans.

BONUS SCENE

Falena and Leona made a bet on where Cheka would end up in college, RSA or NRC

One day, two letters arrived from RSA and NRC, and Cheka unsurprisingly picks NRC

Falena (trying not to seem devastated as Leona admires his winnings at the bg) asks his son why he picked NRC. To which Cheka shrugs and replies that he only knows a few vague things about RSA, unlike NRC where he actually been there as a child and has long since planned to go to NRC. Falena jokes that it'd be a shame Cheka didn't go to RSA, would've been nice since Falena went to RSA when he was young. Cheka then goes: "Wait, you went to RSA?"

Falena: "Yes? I thought you knew already."

Cheka: "No? You barely talk about your college life dad."

Falena, flabbergasted: "Wh- son, did you not see the pictures of me in an RSA uniform?"

Cheka: "You mean those black and white photos of you? How am I supposed to know that was an RSA uniform?"

Falena: "..."

Cheka: "..."

Leona: "..."

Leona: "Your son called you old."

I find myself pretty chuffed by the idea of both Jekyll and Hyde being like...actually in a loving and healthy relationship for once? Albeit a very unconventional one? Said partner would have to be pretty unconventional too obv.

Like, I've seen so many adaptations of Hyde being portrayed as this abusive, hyperviolent wife/girlfriend beater and I think to say this concept has aged like milk is an understatement.

Ahdnsjhd anyways, I'm not very well-versed in expressing myself in such matters, so I'll just, dump a bunch of fluffy prompts:

- Jekyll being very, absurdly timid with PDA (he's already turning pink when holding hands at the park). Meanwhile Hyde constantly throwing himself onto his spouse whenever

- s/o being upset and Jekyll gently inquiring which one of him they'd rather have comforting them at the moment

- if s/o is a wife, Hyde getting her the longest, sharpest, pointiest hatpin (to stab unwanted suitors with)

- "hey, do you want me to kill that guy for you? Because I could, you know. I could kill him if I wanted and nobody will ever know, just say the word, LET ME KILL HIM FOR YOU-"

- s/o adressing their disappointment that they have to sleep alone most of the time because their husband spends half the night as Hyde and only returns at 5 in the morning

- s/o providing both support and aftercare when the transformation is a particularly rough one

- "so I know this gala is in 20 minutes, but Hyde said this kummerbund makes me look fat, -which it doesn't!- and now we need a third opinion..."

- Hyde getting flirted at by s/o unexpectedly and getting so flustered he almost turns into Jekyll on the spot

- "What do you mean BOTH of you have forgotten to eat today!?"

- Jekyll gifting his spouse flowers on the regular and Hyde getting them useless but pretty trinkets and the severed fingers of their enemies or something

it's kinda funny to me how some people might think Hugo wouldn't be into women because like... hello, he's from ingvarr—y'know?? the kingdom of warrior women?? like that man drinks his respect women juice daily first thing in the morning yall

and I like to think that cultural fact about ingvarr also played a part on why he has no problem embracing and tappin into his feminine side as a genderfluid person. I think it's a neat idea, a little detail that makes the character feel very grounded and relatable in a way

How do you feel about having finished the LMK MAP? I watched it and all of the artists were so good! Are you planning on continuing your series? Your shading is immaculate :D

I thought I'd be more tired, but I'm super energized to get more work done (imobviouslystillgonnatrytotakeabreakjustformyhealth) I am going to continue making collabs for LMK, but for now ( Jan - Feb ) I believe I'm gonna be primarily recovering / enjoying some silly doodles before ramping up comic work again! :D And thank you as well bud! >v< b

New to Tumblr. What is the difference between reblogging and re-uploading?

Heyo!

Under a post you should see an arrow symbol: 🔁

✅ If you click it , you will reblog the post, and it will appear on your blog with a clear indication of the original creator/source. This is a good thing because it helps the creator of the post to get more visibility.

❌ When you re-upload or repost you take that content and make a brand new post on your own blog giving the impression that you are the original creator. It's pretty much stealing another person’s work and taking all the credit for it.

There are exceptions ofc like artists who specify that they are ok with re-uploads/reposts but only with proper credits.

In my case I absolutely don't tolerate re-uploads or reposts of my art because it's absolutely heartbraking to see your own art post only getting a few likes while some people on facebook or tiktok simply copy paste hours of your hard work, slapping some cheesy music over it and then getting thousands of likes/comments/shares.

The only exception I make sometimes is when people ask for permission because they would like to translate the post in their language or would like to make a voice over over one of my comics etc.
