Last night I hit 19 months and this morning I was listening to the Hope - rewired episode on www.Sobertown podcast.com I have very fond memories of finding the @i_am_sober_app and seeing a wonderful guy standing under his amazing sunflowers that he’d grown. He as a year sober. He gave me hope. I am rewiring my brain, and riding around on my Bumblebee. I’ve never ridden before. 18 months ago I needed a wheelchair. Life is full. Life is wonderful. I hope that this gives you hope today, in the same way that my knight and his sunflowers did me. A year and five minutes ago I drank my last drop. I have left alcohol and the shell I had become in the past. My life is full and amazing now because of sobriety and all of the friends I have found on the I Am Sober app and Sobertown podcast. I finally fit. I have found my place and it is beautiful.
