It's so wild to me that the SOGIE Bill still hasn't taken into affect because a bunch of religious conservatives don't understand that the bill isn't giving queer people more rights than the straights, but provides legal protection against discrimination based on sexuality and gender identity (which, obv does not exclude allocishets).
It's like they read that they wouldn't be able to talk shit about queer people and assumed that they would somehow be persecuted for being straight.
