ᡣ𐭩 Presenting Solartale! This is my own new AU/timeline of Undertale where, simply, the underground advanced into solarpunk technology to survive rather than how monsters live in the underground now. ⋆˚࿔

(Of course, this AU is still a WIP, so the storyline, character designs, worldbuilding, etc. is not near done, but I will update everyone with each new thing.)

ᝰ.ᐟ Solartale starts off normally, the human & monster war starts, humans are victorious, and monsters are banished to the underground. Through very strong attempts to break through the barrier, however, the king manages to make a strong blow and their efforts paid to make sunlight reach through the underground. No monster knew if they were open enough to actually fly through, but the royal scientists reused failing technology they had to both take the light sources for energy and to grow more food sources for each monster in the underground. As time went on, it advanced more each few years, creating a perfect environment for them. ᝰ.ᐟ Then, of course, the Human falls to this fresh underground from their harsh surface, and if they choose wisely, they'll soon learn more valuable skills for them that they've never even known..

Do you ever have holiday themed diapies depending on the month? (Halloween for October, Christmas for December, ect)

*Unlike the gremlins in the AskIris!sans gang, Sherbert actually has an au! Solartale! In this au, Papyrus doesn’t exist for reasons that I will explain in a second. It’s kinda like a Handplates situation but a LOT less…ya know…experimenting on ur kids. *Sherbert was made by W.D Gaster to help maintain the ruins after a recent cave collapse. Soon after Sherbert was created, Gaster noted how lonely they looked, therefore, work on a companion commenced (Pap). This obviously didn’t work, which led to a sad interaction between Sherbert and Gaster, where Gaster has to break the news. Gaster never made a living creature again after this.

*Present day Sherbert maintains a library in the Omega Timeline, and really likes seeing people learn and grow. Sherbert has a fear of tight spaces, mostly stemming from their days in the lab. They have a pretty good relationship with Core!Frisk and Sherbert has had them over for tea quite a few times

*Concerning Iris…Sherbert does in fact know who they are, but is kind of wary of them. This is because, when they were littler, they were taken to a meeting in another au with Gaster. Them being the curious lil guy they are, they stumbled into a room they ABSOLUTELY SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN IN. It was a control panel that showed plans about something concerning the “IRIS 015 CONTAINMENT PROJECT”. The contents were…off-putting to say the least

ok! That covers the basics, obviously there are really obscure details about them, but I’m going to get my kidneys checked soon, so…yeah

I just recently realized I never actually posted this lmao. I redesigned a bunch of my old undertake sans aus from like 2019-2021. I also redid a lot of their info (which is written underneath their drawings).

Pendant wasn't actually a sans. She was instead a ship child of Swap x Nightmare which I made from a random name wheel. Pendant's main story was that she was born, but due to her parents not even knowing about her existence, she lived in the forest on her own.

Cozmo is from an au called Solartale where basically monsters are just beings in space. Standing tall at 16'0 Cozmo is a star, literally!!

Toaster is one of my most thought out sanses. He currently has the most lore. This sans comes from an au called Underdroid where basically monsters are androids. There is more story to it but I won't spill in case I want to do something for it later. This au was inspired off of Detroit: Becomes Human and Emmy the Robot !!

Ghost is thee least thought out sans. I'm still looking for a story for him but the basic gist is that it's a sans, and he's partially a ghost or something along the lines of that. His design may be changed but we'll see I guess.

I just recently redesigned Sweettart, mainly because I just wanted to draw something. I didn't really plan on keeping him but maybe I will. If so I plan to make the story inspired off of the game We Happy Few

SolarTale Character #1 : Solar!Chara (Hidden Soul)

Chara is the main character in SolarTale's story, developing her abilities throughout her adventure and encounters. This character will have several posts to explain its different forms following its evolution.

Backstory

Chara was a girl living in a village near a large mountain called Mount Ebott. This mountain had the reputation of being the refuge of the devil given that according to many legends, the monsters had been locked up there after a bloody war against humans.

Chara had very strict parents who put a lot of pressure on her shoulders despite her young age, and it was after an argument that Chara fled her home to climb the mountain guided by a strange feeling that this was the path she wanted. had to borrow.

Despite the reputation of this mountain and the stories that children learn at school, Chara has no hesitation in entering it following her curiosity and instinct. Suddenly, she trips and falls into a huge hole, taking her to the Underground.

Abilities

Knives of Determination : Chara can make reddish knives of determination appear in the air or on any surface, these are completely controlled by Chara

Ray of Determination : Several knives (at least 5) spin quickly, leaving a reddish circle in the air, quickly, a ray will come out of the circle to rush in a straight line. The size of the radius depends on the size of the circle created by the knives. She can also project a ray from her palm which can be deflected to take the opponent by surprise but it will be much weaker.

Regeneration : Chara has the very handy ability to heal her wounds. It cannot regenerate severed limbs but it can completely close wounds such as larger or smaller cuts or broken bones. This is visible by a red glow escaping from the wound, the regeneration time varies depending on the size of the wound (for example, a cut that extends across one's entire body will take several minutes while small scratches will take a few seconds) . This power consumes a lot of her magic, quickly weakening her if she uses it too much.

Explosion of determination : She has the ability to concentrate her magic in a single point, especially around her, to bring it out, causing an explosion by pushing away people near her.

Weapon Creation : Chara can create all kinds of weapons of determination, most often a shield to block attacks, a sword and knives, she can also modify their size.

Personality

Even if she has great power linked to her soul of determination, Chara remains an innocent child who is not yet aware of all the horrors of the world, including betrayal, war or murder.

She is naturally kind to everyone, seeking to do good around her, and easily trusts strangers. Chara also has a fierce and stubborn side, not hesitating to rush into danger to save people or to train tirelessly to progress in her mastery of magic.
