Today's a be brave day. So, I would like to introduce the fanfic I am writing in order to share Cimarra's story with everyone. It's a long-term and intense project for me, but I am excited to be going on this journey with her.

Maybe I haven't been in this fandom long enough, but I'm disappointed in how they can't create a good evil sonic. They keep trying but consistently fuck it up so bad that it's not even evil sonic and you made a whole new character, but like 20 times. I know that's the most nuanced and satisfying way to take a character like this who was made from someone else because you're seeing their progression as they become something they want to be -which, I will admit, Sonic has a lot of "i wanna be evil" and that's very sexy of them.

But taking a character and making them evil and fundamentally keeping the universe and the character the same is really fun! Also these cute animals that average under 18 years old are evil now.

Evil Sonic is still Sonic! You gotta keep the foundation of the character and either switch it 180 for comedy or take the character's inner morality and work with it.

"I'm Sonic the Hedgehog! I love running, clear skies, my friends, and nature and that's why I wanna kill humans and bomb their polluting cities! :D"

Working with their core character means said character works against their canon goals. Which usually switches those goals with their enemy -on a basic level but that's enough for an au like this.

So Sonic goes from an environmentalist to eco-terrorist

Eggmans 'progress for the sake of progress', because he wants to gain complete power for himself is shifted to 'progress for progress' because he should and it's their right as humans.

Eggman makes a dam to power a robot factory and Sonic destroys it, saving the forest
