SoS Exchange 2022

Hello, everyone! After running the interest check, we've discovered that there's quite a few people interested in both event themes we've presented y'all with—so we've decided to run both:

Summer of Sorcery, a fantasy-themed MCYT fic exchange (Hermitcraft, Last Life/3rd Life, Dream SMP, Origins SMP, and more!)

Summer of Sci-Fi, a science fiction themed MXTX fic exchange (including all MXTX fandoms!)

They'll be running on the same schedules, with communications and announcements all going through the same discord server and social media accounts, but we're making separate collections and spaces for participants to hang out and ask questions.

Please follow us here on tumblr and on twitter for updates on sign-ups (which will be opening within the next week!) and make sure to join our discord server if you're interested in participating! We've also got a faq page here on tumblr, so please check that out for general exchange info.

Signups for MCYT exchange close soon!!

Signups have almost closed for the MCYT Summer of Sorcery Exchange - there are about five days left! We are a fic-only exchange with a focus on magical/fantasy settings within MCYT fanworks (SMPs, RPF, etc). We want to encourage the creation of more fantasy fanfiction, and ensure that everyone gets a gift! If you're a writer and a fan of the Dream SMP, Hermitcraft, Origins SMP, 3rd Life/Last Life, or any other popular SMP or the streamers involved, this exchange is for you. 🍄

If you want to sign up (both write and receive a fic), please join our Discord server and then sign up through our AO3 collection (or the other way around, we don't really mind). 🏹

If you want to pinch hit (write a fic on shorter notice for someone whose original author dropped out), please join our Discord server and self-assign the pinch hitter role; we'll @ you if we need someone! 🐉

Hello! It's almost May, which means it's just about time for the second annual SOS exchange. Last year, we ran Summer of Sci-Fi, a Dream SMP centric exchange. This year, there are two proposed themes:

Summer of Sorcery, a MCYT fantasy exchange
