can anyone tell I'm excited for the new Lanterns show? just me? okay
And the Astra Militarum/Adeptus Arbites project continues.
BIG BIRD!! I like how this came out despite the fact that I had to do the whole thing by hand with a brush and that I was rushing to complete it before the weekend. Fun fact, valkyries are one of my most favourite minis and I was so excited that I managed to get my hands on one.
Now for the actual Arbites themselves. These have been a loooooong ongoing project started back at the start of the year. Some of them have a slightly different paint style but I didn't really vibe with the very matte, diffused scheme and switched gear to follow GWs Arbites schemes with some tweeks.
Now for the only Astra Militarum infantry I've completely painted. A "Cadian" commander for a "Cadian" command squad. I used some spare parts from my Arbites and a 3rd party Arbite to make them feel more like an enforcer. Speaking of 3rd party Arbites...
4 enforcers minis from Artel W miniatures. Got these + some extra special minis that will be a part of this project in the future. 2 of them will be run as commissars, 1 as a Cadian castellan, and 1 as an inquisitor. Finally..
The full army so far including all the minis that will be a part of it and are primed but not yet painted. 3 units of Cadian shock troops, 1 unit (so far) of attilan rough riders converted from atalan jackals, 2 units of Arbites (1 subjugator units, 1 exaction/vigilant unit), 1 armoured sentinel, 1 Valkyrie, 2 commissars, 1 Cadian command unit, 1 Cadian castellan, and 1 inquisitor. This is just the tip of the iceberg. there is a fair amount more to add that is yet to be built or ordered but eventually I'll have a decent Astra Militarum army themed to be planetary enforcers and inspired by judge Dredd, cyberpunk cops, and SWAT.
We at P.A.S.A. are excited to share more development of Space Cops 24!
We will e sharing multitude of concept art of our beloved Crew 24, the mischievous GG's, and our galactic enemy HIVE and the Jupiteranians! We will also be providing some background art of locations of the Space Cops 24 universe! From command center and the solar system!
For now! Have a test animation of Captain Catherine of Crew 24 gearing up for her space mission!
I was recently Googling for a topic (superintelligence) and saw one of your and Peter's books recommended - SPACE COPS: MINDBLAST. Looks out of print, though, and no e-book. Is this one of those books you can self-publish (and would you consider it worth the work), or are the rights tied up somewhere?
Unfortunately, we can't self-publish this one. It was a packaged property/work for hire, so we don't own the rights. Additionally, the packager sold the rights on to another packager, who apparently has no plans to e-publish them.
There are a fair number of paperbacks to be had, though, if you feel like hitting AbeBooks. Check the search here.
To the people who say “not all cops”.
You’re right, Magister Rook Blonko would never.
OH NO, ITS THE DYSTOPIAN FRENCH CYBERPUNK POLICE HERE TO BUST MY ASS FOR SWEARING ON CLUB PENGUIN!?</3
