When you're in a group chat, and everyone knows not to expect a reply after work because you're busy watching His Dark Materials or The X-Files. But on the rare occasion you find a new show to binge, they start sending your name in all caps…

Last night's final message after 30 texts: "_____ HAS GONE DEEP INTO VOYAGER. WE HAVE LOST HER. WE WILL HEAR ALL ABOUT IT IN THE MORNING..."

I could dedicate my life to researching astronomy and I still wouldn't understand it. It doesn't matter what astronomers/scientists say, or how they say it, or how they demonstrate it to me... They could speak very slowly starting from the beginning of astronomical discovery and fill me in on every single possible detail known to man about space and I would still just be like okay but what does that MEAN THO??????

cameras are great. i took pictures of the moon and when i zoomed in on the pics i took, YOU COULD SEE THE CRATERS LIKE HOLY COW THE MOON IS ACROSS SPACE BUT I CAN SEE ITS RUGGED TERRAIN CLEARLY WHAT
