Big photo dump but I didn’t just crochet these dice bags - I designed the pattern for them myself. Admittedly that’s less impressive than it sounds, I just couldn’t find a pattern for dragonscale pouches that was shaped the way I wanted so I took what I know about shaping crochet pieces and applied it while plugging in stitch/row counts until I got what I wanted through trial and error. But I’m still proud.
I made this virus stitch shawl as a present for my grandmother. I used the Hobbii Azalea yarn in the berries colorway.
My grandmother is a fiber artist herself and she taught me how to knit when I was a little kid. Even though I didn’t keep up with knitting, I think that a crocheted gift is something that she would truly appreciate because she knows the amount of time and effort that goes into these kinds of projects.

🌟 What is your favourite type of crafting (knitting, crocheting, sewing, embroidery, etc) and why?
Ohhhh man. I'd have to say crochet - it's something I can do mindlessly and socially and it's a lot of fun to see what I'm working on emerge. I took it up during lockdown and I've found that unlike a lot of other crafts I've done, I don't have to be in a particular mindspace to enjoy what I'm doing. (For instance - I love doing embroidery/needle painting but it's such a long and involved process that I need to have time and be in a relatively less stressed mindspace.)
It's also great because I'm able to make meaningful presents for my friends.
One of my friends is really into furbies, so I made her this gal.

This is a crochet pattern PDF, not a finished item. A simple and cute hooded cowl with bunny ears! I also used black tea to dip-dye the ear
And I also got to make an amigurumi of yet another friends' Thirsty Sword Lesbians character.
I freehanded the clothes and added faux fur yarn to indicate feathers, but for the doll I used this pattern:
And it's just always such a fun experience. I love putting in the time and seeing something adorable come out of it.
