TFA Hurt/comfort
Optimus wasn't sure what to do, these pass few months he had been secretly hiding using the excuse of 'working from home' as cover. Now in his arms he held the reason why he was being so secretive.
"Shh, its alright" Optimus cooed as he pulled the fairly chunky sparkling closer. "Are you hungry or just cranky? You can tell carrier what's wrong"
The sparkling's cries began to die down but their optics remained wide still full of tears. Their tiny clawed servo tightly clung to their carrier's chest, afraid of losing the warmth and safety. Optimus just softly smiled before using his thumb to wipe away those tears and with a little hum placed a tiny kiss on top of the bittie's helm, hoping to comfort them further.
"Did you have a nightmare?" The prime could feel his spark ache when those green optics looked at him, still afraid. "Don't worry, carrier will chase away those monsters. No one will ever hurt you again my spark"
A part of him knew he was saying that to himself. Optimus still had no idea where the sire of his sparkling had vanished too or if they were still on Cybertron at all. The night it happened was a mistake, the one time he lets himself get overcharged he just has to wind up getting sparked and all to a dead beat. Letting out a sigh Optimus just shook his helm as he pulled his now sleeping bittie closer, he just hoped tomorrow would be better. A new job, co workers and boss should give them a new start, he just hoped his boss wasn't a aft like his old one.

Megatron gave a intrigued hum as he looked through the list of new hires. His optics narrowed sharply as his gaze landed on the photo of a red and blue mech. Now what was a pretty mech like him doing here of all places? Megatron could feel his interest growing the longer he read through the truck's file, a single carrier living in a small apartment. Now he couldn't have that, the bot who sparked this mech up had surely made a huge mistake and Megatron was determined to prove such a thing.

And this is the reason Shockwave stopped holding her when she was a sparkling.
