there is an absolutely massive fucking spider on the wall near me but I cant get up to go get a cup to let it out because its Right There next to the door and if I get too close it is MOST DEFINATELY gonna run off into fuck knows where

and I just know if that happens the next time I'm gonna see it is waking up to it dangling from the ceiling above my fucking bed oh my fucking god

Had to kill the previous big spider in my room because it got in my bag. I got this new small one and its a lil dumbass. How do i teach it to eat flies

I honestly thought it was dead so i touched its lil leg and it started spinning like crazy help what am i supposed to do with a dumbass like that

Might anyone be able to identify the species and homeland of this little guy? I'm very curious as it didn't seem like it belonged here! It had very big fangs, but it didn't seem to be aggressive towards us

Update: is this a type of false widow? The markings seem very similar to a certain type I've seen on Google, but most false widows I've seen appear to be black?

Does anyone know what kind of spider this is cause it’s in the bathroom and I’m FREAKING OUT. I’m alone and he moved up the wall angrily while I screamed so I braved the door to run out. I’m in Florida so it shouldn’t be that bad but it’s a huge ass spider and it’s the biggest one I’ve ever seen that hasn’t been on the other side of a cage. Will this poison me??? Also there’s been tiny spiders every now and then so I think this bad bitch had bABIES. And I’m NOT ABOUT THAT SPIDER LIFE MAN. I live in central Florida if that helps narrow down what spider this is

i really want to adopt a tarantula in order to sort of open my mind & heart to some bug friends, while also getting over being so panicky around spiders/other bugs. what would you recommend as a beginner tarantula? i have a few tank set ups in mind already, i would prefer ground dwelling over arboreal, but im super open. id also love something with a little bit of color, but that's totally not required. tips & advice are all appreciated !! 🕷️🕸️

I live in southeast US... anyone wanna tell me what the HECK kind of spider this is?!? They are about the size of my thumb! (And not aggressive... I totally tried to kill it at first but the thing is so passive I've decided to free it)
