If so "unloveable" how come she literally has a love heart on her?
She is just baby
I got reminded about the spider man franchise and now I’m irrationally mad again about the Brand New Day trailer. “Three life cycles” just sounds absolutely ridiculous and I hate it. You only get one life cycle! Frogs, butterflies, spiders, all of them get one life cycle!
And if they meant to say there are three stages in a spider’s life cycle, that’s also wrong! There are 5! Egg, egg with legs, spiderling, juvenile, adult!
Welcome new Shelob. (Grammostola pulchra) (Brazilian black) Scotty’s first
(Yet unnamed) Brachypelma Boehmi. Mexican fireleg
Caribina Versicolor - Antilles pink toe, suspected female. Name tbd. Our first aborreal.
Hubby’s friend is downsizing her spider children. We had to help.
Think of the children!
Arachnopobes pls scroll past!! This is a pic of a spider!
A babie me and @halfapinetree found on the way home. Poor dude didn't seem to be doing so well in England's weather so we put him in a big bush
Might anyone be able to identify the species and homeland of this little guy? I'm very curious as it didn't seem like it belonged here! It had very big fangs, but it didn't seem to be aggressive towards us
Thank u!
Update: is this a type of false widow? The markings seem very similar to a certain type I've seen on Google, but most false widows I've seen appear to be black?
Mr Tippy-toes (aka Shelob, the baby Brazilian black) molted today. Or last night. The coloring on this sling is really starting to come out. It was reddish before with a tiny bit of black. That’s all but gone now.
Was going to go get crickets, but now we have to wait another couple of days to make sure everyone has had a chance for their fangs to harden.
Two days ago, Indy, my giant Mexican red knee also molted.
The smaller regular Mexican red knee molted a few weeks ago and is gorgeous.
Found two molts from the little Mexican fire leg sling when I was cleaning it’s home.
Only one we’re concerned with at this point in time is the Antilles pink toe who has webbed themselves into a log.
Oaxaca molted. This is the old skin. Shed it about an hour ago. Little shit.
