Juicy chicken breasts stuffed with gooey mozzarella cheese and healthy spinach. Seasoned just right and baked until golden. That this dish is both tasty and simple to make makes it a great choice for a weeknight dinner or a special event.
Ingredients: 2 chicken breasts. 1 cup baby spinach, chopped. 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese. Salt and pepper to taste. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. By cutting each chicken breast in half, you can make a pocket for the stuffing. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning to the inside of each chicken breast. Put equal amounts of chopped spinach and shredded mozzarella cheese into each chicken breast. If you need to, use toothpicks to hold the chicken breasts together. A skillet that can go in the oven should have olive oil in it. For about two to three minutes on each side, sear the stuffed chicken breasts until they are golden brown. Place the skillet in an oven that has already been heated up. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the chicken is fully cooked. Take out the toothpicks before serving.
