𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐄 △ ✨⁣ ⁣ I’m currently re-reading Simple Soulful Sacred by @megandallacamina . It’s a really good read, full of soul prompts and great examples of how to really dig down and discover what makes you feel truly satisfied. ⁣ ⁣ One of the chapters is called “What Does Your Soul Say About Monday?”, and within it I found a couple great questions that I like to end my Sunday nights with. ⁣ ⁣ △ 𝘞𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘭𝘰𝘰𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘬?⁣ ⁣ △ 𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘥𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘫𝘰𝘺?⁣ ⁣ △ 𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘸𝘢𝘳𝘥𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘴𝘵, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘭 𝘤𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰?⁣ ⁣ I find these questions, especially that last one, to be such a great way to ground myself before the upcoming week.⁣ ⁣ Where am I spreading myself too thin.. and am I serving myself in doing so, or just being a people pleaser? Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. The hospital where I was blessed to meet one of the most beautiful intellectual mature but yet one of the biggest goof ball kid on this planet earth after a horrific car crash I was in 9 years ago today: May 04, 2008. I can't imagine have being in that facility without this woman there to keep my spirits up as we did for one another. I love you with all my heart Tammy Le, thank you being not only a best friend, but a phenomenal first-rate great influence. I learned so much from you then and still do to this day. You are one out of the only four role models I look up into this world. You are a warrior and a loyal one at that. I met a free spirit. They were beautiful and enchanting and everything I've ever wanted to be. They opened up their heart and soul and let me dive straight in. They trusted me and I trusted them completely. We shared what would take me years to share with another. They saw how much I loved velvet and wanted to share their love for velvet with me too. They shared what they had with me. They introduced me to some beautiful souls. They transformed me into a glitter fairy. They had thought of a crystal they wanted to send me. They told me they could see me for who I am, and that I am getting there and that others can see that too. They were only with me for an hour. A free spirit is the most beautiful thing you will ever encounter. Free spirits leave a part of their spirit behind in the ones they love. You can feel it. Don't ever let your inner spirit go. Catch it and let it grow, until there's so much that you can share it too.
