Splendor is the second oldest slenderkin as he was the first successful attempt Slender had at making others of his kind
Splendor was a human, but it's been so long he has only the barest hint of any memories
He was doing something very important when he died, he's sure of it, he remembers holding something.... but when he tries to remember it slips away
His first real memory was waking up to Slender kind of poking him- like he had no idea what exactly he had made (he didn't) & suddenly being *so* happy because he *knew* that was his *family*!!!
Splendor looks fairly identical to Slender except that his arms and legs fade from white to black, the "face" he has is an illusion spell, although he does have real eyes & a mouth they're just under his skin. & if you're around to see them, well, you won't be around much longer!
Slender spent many years alone with Splendor teaching him everything he knew about being one of their kind. How to eat, how to use his tendrils, how to speak telepathically and how to use his telepathy to hunt. And to be quite honest Splendor taught Slender a lot too. (They are rather affectionate with each other)
Splendor also eats mostly children with a few exceptions to that rule as he will eat their parents from time to time
Splendor actually has dozens of Proxies, they are all children he has taken and raised but didn't eat. He calls them his children. He has made a few of them into Slenderkin over the years, but he's also made dozens of Slenderkin from random dying humans he's stumbled upon (Offender was one of those)
Slenderbeings, at their core, are a solitary species. Their instincts incline them to apathy towards weaker creatures and hostility towards anything that can be regarded as a threat to themselves or their resources. And what but a slenderbeing is powerful enough to successfully kill, harm or out-compete another slenderbeing?
As a result, early encounters between slenderbeings overwhelmingly resulted in bloodshed.
Unfortunately, you can't sustain a species with a population that kill each other on sight.
So life found a way.
Slenderbeings have a term for this "way" that one could directly translate into english as " [he/she/they/I] fought the love into [you/me]" or more poetically as "finding love through battle" or more concisely as "love-struck". The term describes a phenomenon in the species where intense sexual attraction is developed during combat.
For some slenderbeings it is sudden and overwhelming; in one moment you're trying to rip out each other's throats and in the next you're fucking each other into the dirt. For others it is delayed and gradual; you're limping away from your battle to lick your wounds in peace, assuaging your ego by thinking of how you're going to retaliate, how your claws will feel rending through the other's skin, how their blood will look staining the pristine glow of their face, how effortlessly you'll move through the attacks the other makes with their long, elegant limbs, how it would feel to fuck each other into the dirt - huh. Where did that thought come from?
Of course, not every battle causes this phenomenon. There are numerous factors at play that determine if and when an individual reaches that point. Generally, however, the more intense and prolonged the battle, the more likely this attraction will form in a combatant.
While occasionally both slenderbeings involved in the fight may develop the attraction at roughly the same time, it is much more common for only one combatant to "have the love fought into them". In other species this one-sided attraction may precipitate attempts at non-consensual pairings. However, the intensity and length of battle needed to trigger the attraction is only truly possible between slenderbeings of similar strength. Therefore, the "love-struck" slenderbeing would not have the power necessary to force a coupling with the object of their affection. This is understood both intellectually and instinctually so very few ever attempt it, with the determined preferring to throw themselves wholeheartedly into courtship and the stubborn preferring to ignore the feelings until they (hopefully) go away.
Once the most prevalent reason slenderbeings engaged in mating behaviors, it slowly decreased in prevalence as various pressures made it beneficial for slenderbeings to go against their instincts and form societal structures of increasing complexity, doubly so once The Revolution creates a broader cryptid society that prides itself in harmony between and amongst its diverse populations.
Even so, the biological processes that make the phenomenon possible are still present in every slenderbeing alive today; ready and waiting to trigger.

Splendorman isn't necessarily an important nor known character in my AU, but oh my gosh he's so cute and lovely i love him LOOK AT HIM I LOVE EVERY ARTSTYLE OF HIM!!!
Splendor surprisingly enjoys a nice cup of coffee (sometimes bitter)! Though he doesn't mind any drinks, he does enjoy tea and coffee.
He is classified as 'Neutral' even though he doesn't attack first. He'll only attack back when you do it first, so overall he's a pacifist unless you throw like a grenade at him or something .
Oldest of the family.. meow.
(Another funfact, he wasn't originally created to be Slender's brother but people decided to roll wit it and I find that very silly billy)
His personality is kind, quite gentle but yet shows a lot of positivity.
"Why did you draw him in such a himbo way?" His name is 'SPLENDOR' man. Not 'SLENDER'. Slender is the SLENDER one and Splendor is happy dude. Cheer!

Sorry anon... My Splendorman doesn't exist. Well, he did once, but the real him died a long time ago.
He appears, in the form you know him, as a hallucination in Slenders mind. Out of guilt. Why guilt? Who knows. [I know, but I can't tell you]
He was a sweet kid. Had hemophilia, but he had the best medical help his time period could afford. He died in a house fire-or should I say Castle fire.
It was arson. They charged someone for it - the wrong person. Who was the right person? I think you know them.
It was an accident! And now he forever haunts Slenderman's subconscious.
Slender doesn't remember who he is or why this strange being keeps on appearing and making him feel bad. Think about the ghosts from Anastasia.
After Zalgo and Slender were separated in the lab, Slender was put with 3 other test subjects, the four became so close that they gradually treated each other like brothers. The three before Slender were already close and gladly accepted Slenderman into their brotherhood.
SLENDERMAN
-Slenderman is the voice of reason for his brothers
-Feeds off human bodies
-If anybody whether a worker or a brother needs advice, Slender is the go-to guy (unfortunately for him)
-Slender is the youngest brother of the group
-Slender doesn't exactly hate his brothers
-He just gets constantly exhausted and deflated whenever their around because these guys ALWAYS cause some sort of trouble
-Needs very long rests after they visit and he doesn't even need to sleep
SPLENDORMAN
-Middle Child, younger than Offender and Trender
-Joyous motherfucker
-Feeds off joy and happy energy
-He does have his own forest and his own workers, he enjoys managing them and being invovled
-He treats all his workers like friends
-His joy is seemingly never ending, so much so that it's scary to imagine pissing him off
-Its even scarier when you HAVE somehow pissed him off
-He. Goes. Ballistic.
-But it's only ever happened once
-The one time he invited Offender over, something unsavory almost happened to one of his workers
-Splendor promptly beat the absolute shit out of him
-Other than that, whenever he goes to Slender and his workers he never loses his cool
-Splendor will have tea parties with Sally and Lulu whenever they want because Slenderman refuses
-He tries his best to get everyone all together to have little parties and game nights

-Second oldest brother
-He has workers but a very limited number
-Feeds off sexual energy
-Hes sorta of a Valentino from Hazbin esque character
-He rarely sees his brothers because everyone really hates him
-Slender has banned him from his forest, Splendor tries to avoid him at all costs and Trender tries to forget he even exists
-He has his workers under mind control, if they ever awaken from the mind control they will kill him
-He's sorta like a queen bee of a colony
TRENDERMAN
-Oldest brother
-He treats his workers like his models
-His workers don't kill, he's never had an interest in death and doesn't need to eat people to survive
-He has no need to eat or sleep, so he spends most of his time working
-He doesn't spend a lot of time with his brothers but will babysit the younger members of Slender's Forest (E.g. Sally)
-The most truthful and responsible brother
-Uses his workers as models
-He is where mannequins come from lol
-He watches MLP with Sally, his favourite is Rarity

Good question I never thought about and also I've been feeling in the mood to finally write again lmao
They all do have just some quirks they prefer their partners to have. I have to admit that I like to think that if they just click with their partners, they'll certainly pursue a relationship with that person.
Splendor
As a joyful force to be recond with he too looks for a partner that at least has the same patience for being overly -or just normally- positive about things, he is a people pleaser sometimes much to his dismay. Giddy and cheerful that he is his partner could preferably be as well.
It's not a must but someone who likes to help him in his attempt to make people happy or at the least content, optimistic and someone who's not shy as he's definitely one of the most extroverted of the four.
I see him meeting y/n in some social work, either helping children or just generally people , no matter what realm they come from. Charity events for animals, climate change, or peaceful protest, someone who's active in those fields are more likely than not to become his parents just because of similar interests and you'll be most likely to meet him at any of those.
Trender
He's creative in any field, not just fashion, be it art, traditional, or digital. He likes to inspire the people around him with his works, and surprisingly, he likes someone who has no clue and much, much less of an idea what to create. He loves to inspire, and he loves it even more if he could just impress a potential partner with his talent.
Of course like I said, if you don't match into their preferences but click otherwise it doesn't matter, so if you are just as focused on creating art and inspiring others that too won't hold him back from courting you.
Offender
For that, I have to elaborate that he is a really well-known comedian with a crude and sometimes offensive humour (hence the name offender, lmao). He's witty and a tease, and on top of that, a massive natural flirt.
It's like dating a bartender. You'd have to be okay with him sometimes acting flirty with no jealousy attached to it. He can't help it. He also wants someone to banter with, one who can take a joke or two on their behalf without getting offended as much, someone who might clock him with their own joke's.
Challenge him, he enjoys it, he's incredibly witty and to the shock of most people quite intelligent it takes a smart man to make so many and so quickly jokes.
Slender
Slender in my Canon, at least, is a bank operator (or CEO if you will). He is first and foremost engrossed in keeping the money flowing where it should. He is confident in his abilities and how he manages his work above all, he does not tolerate him being questioned either about his work or over all his authority, he kinda needs to because otherwise people would just go over his back time and time again.
That being said, he does enjoy a partner with a backbone. More importantly, he is the only one who is hard on this rule. If his potential partner just let's someone walk over them, he counts them out as potential suitors. His partner should also have a brain in his head. While he enjoyed his few bimbo/himbo partners, it's not a sustainable relationship. His position is wanted in the underworld. It's like a shiny ring would be for magpies. Being smart is one thing, the other is being able to at least to some degree being able to defend yourself if someone tries to get to you, he among other things likes a partner who's not afraid to tell him to fuck off because he is being stupid again. A partner who challenges him and others around them, not bending to their will as the others want them too, and even when he finds it annoying when it's directed to him in a moment, he appreciates it deep down.
I hope it's okay if I request Splendorman x a sassy fashion designer reader? As in reader adores being the center of attention and has a very bold style, but is also very easygoing.

FIRST MEETINGS
Splendorman had been invited by Trenderman to a party with some fashion designer friends of his brother;
And that's where he met you;
At the beginning of the party he was a little agitated, the only company he usually receives is from children or his brothers;
He also knows nothing about fashion;
Most likely Splendor will try to talk mainly with Trender;
Trender figures it out pretty quickly though, and, seeing that you're the most easygoing person at the party, he decides to introduce you to his brother;
At first Splendor is a little confused... you're only talking about yourself;
However, he is too kind to interrupt you and will therefore listen to your entire speech;
At the end of the party he will, involuntarily, know everything about you;
He will then talk to Trender to ask him about you;
Trender informs his brother that you are very chill but, somehow, a self-centered person;
But he doesn't inform Splendor that you also have a sassy personality;
Of course Splendor will find out for himself!
However, after the party, he doesn't see you for a long time since he doesn't frequent the fashion field;
One day he goes to visit Trender and finds you chatting about something related to fashion;
Trender invites him to sit and join their tea break;
And could Splenderman ever refuse?
Obviously not so, internally disconsolate, he sits next to you on the sofa;
The situation comes to a head when you realize that Splendorman isn't listening to your words at all;
You will have a lingering frown on your face;
And the two brothers notice it;
However Trenderman has to leave you and his brother alone as he has to go make tea again;
And the situation degenerates;
Given your egocentric and sassy personality, you begin to accuse Splendorman of not paying attention to your words;
He tries to explain that he was listening but simply didn't know how to respond since fashion isn't his thing;
The situation is resolved with Trenderman helping his brother to explain;
The "tea break" ends awkwardly;
DEVELOPMENT OF FEELINGS
Trenderman absolutely wants to make you reconcile;
So he will try to invite you two to the events he organises;
Being the proud person that you are, you will not apologize first;
Splendorman will speak to you privately and apologize;
(even if it's not his fault);
You start going out together, initially as friends, and, speaking not only about fashion, you get along very well;
Splendorman finally begins to believe that you are easygoing;
He also thinks you're very pretty, you dress very well and always very elegant;
When Splendor starts to perceive romantic feeling, he doesn't pay much attention to it;
You're very sweet but not his type, right???
When the realization hits him he's a little bit embarrased: he hasn't had a crush in a long time after all;
Splendor will start giving you more and more gifts (he used to give them to you also before but now it happens more often);
He will also shower you with more cute and sweet compliments;
You can understand that something is wrong bc he blushes very often even at the slightest contact;
But it's not really bad to see him get all shy, right?
THE CONFESSION
I'm pretty sure he'll confess first;
Splendor can't keep all that stress inside himself + he doesn't want you to continue to see him only as a friend;
He prepares everything, leaves nothing imperfect;
After all, he already has a plan in mind for how things will go and Splendor's just waiting for you to arrive at his house;
He wants everything to be romantic and perfect, like in romantic films or fairy tales;
He's just a little nervous, after all you're a little late (about 5 minutes but time seems to pass more slowly);
Emotion overtakes him when he hears the doorbell ring and Splendor literally throws himself on the door handle to open it...
... but we are not in a romantic film here.
The door opens with a click and Splendor, all breathless and panting from both anxiety and emotion, looks at you with dreamy eyes. However, the sparkle doesn't last long and is replaced by his worried "eyes" and a forced smile.
Why are you so serious?
Your eyes aren't as relaxed as usual and there's an annoyed frown on your lips. His arm instinctively moves towards you and his hand is about to touch your shoulder but, at a certain point, Splendor stops.
Did you just take a step back?
Splendor quickly moves and waves his hand at you to come in, now he's just like you: very stiff and he doesn't even want to. He watches you as you quickly reach the couch, however you sit in an unusual place and further away from his seat. Splendor sighs internally, not wanting to upset you too much, and silently closes the door, to speed things up he teleports to his seat on the couch. His gaze darkens when he sees you jump as he appears in front of you.
Were you afraid of him?
Splendor coughs and clears his throat. "I called you here to tell you something very important, my dear...". He wants to continue but stops when he sees you shaking and crying. He's really lost, and while he's good at comforting people, he doesn't really know how to act around you. After all, he had never seen you cry. The minutes pass uninterrupted, the silence of the living room is broken by your curses and sobs. "...do you want to talk about it?" Splendor tries to lighten the air that is too thick with unhappiness and tension. "I know what you want to talk about..." your voice is low and entremely shaky than usual and, at your words, Splendor panics.
Do you know everything? How? Trender told you something?
"Oh... really?" Splendor swallows his saliva with difficulty, his throat has become dry and sore in less than a second. He watches you while you painfully nod your head "T-There's no need for your explanation, Splendor... I understand that my p-personality is absolutely unbearable and, d-definitely, annoying... I had already noticed for a long time your efforts to push me away but... w-well, I always thought it was just my impression, I-I didn't want to believe it since i've always liked you... b-but now..." your voice is broken by a particulary loud sob and, after it, you are permanently silent.
Splendor doesn't really know what to do. Should he hug you? Kiss you? The desire to prove that everything you said was wrong is very strong but, rationally, he decides to take his time to explain the situation to you. "Oh my darling, you couldn't be more wrong..." quickly his usual and iconic smile reappears, a tentacle slowly approaches you and rests under your chin, then it gently raises your head in his direction. "I love you... that's what I wanted to talk to you about. I was afraid of rejection but now that I know how you feel I think it will be easier to confess, isn't it?" Splendor chuckles lightly, very amused by the misunderstanding that had arisen a few minutes ago.
After these words no one speaks anymore, you start crying again, against your will, but this time for other reasons and Splendor knows it well.
You spend most of the day cuddling on the couch and you both decide not to discuss the "feelings" issue for now. After all the emotions before you both need a break.
AFTER THE CONFESSION
You start spending more and more time together;
Splendorman is already thinking of living together but doesn't want to force you to do something you don't want;
Even though you don't live together yet, you spend a lot of nights at his house;
You mostly spend time together while he creates some gifts for the kids and you design some new accessories and clothes;
Speaking of drawings: one day he peeks into your notebook and sees all the beautiful sketches:
From then on, he start giving yourself anything related to drawing;
YOUR RELATIONSHIP
Your relationship is, in general, very stable;
Splendor learned how to deal with your sassy personality and you did the same with him;
That said, when you two argue, Splendor tries to resolve the situation as quickly as possible;
He knows you won't apologize anytime soon or at all;
One time you apologized to him two months after the fight, Splendor thought it was very cute that you were still thinking about it;
He knows that you care about your relationship, you just have a little difficulty apologizing, but Splendorman takes on this task very willingly;
You two don't really think too much about the future, Splendor only thinks about living together;
As far as future children are concerned, it is still an unknown;
Starting a family is challenging and you both have a lot of work to do during the days, so at the moment you don't even think about it;
Although Splendor is very proud to have you as his boyfriend/girlfriend, is reluctant to let you meet Offender and Slender, so expect to see them few times or not at all;
Having said that, he is very happy that you are on good terms with Trender;
You are the person he cares about most in the world and the same goes for you;
