Two things I’d like to note about “Red Meat” which happens to be on TNT right now. The look on Sam’s face while on the phone when he asks Dean if Corbin is with him is lethal. Kudos to Jared for bringing the badassery throughout the whole thing, but I love the little moments too.
And I really liked Michelle, Corbin’s wife. The actress was quite good and I think it would be interesting to see her again now that she knows what’s out there. Tiny little badass hunter maybe? Isn’t that how they’re born, through supernatural tragedy? Or maybe just trying to live her life as best she can and she calls on Sam and Dean because something happens that she realizes they can help with. I can see Dean having given her their contact info.

I also have this thought, that it’s more obviously on the surface level not about Cas in the sense that yes of course Sam is the one who dies in this episode. HOWEVER. This episode is about ENDING the brodependency
Talk about a statement not aging well. 🤣🤣🤣
If one has to write this much bullshit to explain WHY an episode is about something that it's not about, maybe one is reading too much into the episode.
