Granted, Zeno learns to be grateful for food and literally everything (man has literally had to make himself clothes with whatever he could find---probably a very interesting low that is worth mentioning) he ever comes to have in his possession, and was already a pretty polite/educated/well mannered/grateful boy, but I just. I really like this thought y'know? The third person talking is the thing he does bc of Kaya, I'd like to imagine he felt so terrible about letting that one uneaten bowl of rice go to waste that he became incredibly passionate about refusing to let food be wasted.

Also, brief, very nice little character development touch, in my humble kayazeno opinion.

(Also there's my "Zeno is always hungry" theory from ages ago but I like the Kayazeno better)

seeing my kin (butch lesbians) fills me with life and light but I think it is possibly this very feeling that leads some gay women to boldly assume that any woman who thoroughly rejects feminine aesthetics for herself cannot possibly be straight. important to remember that femininity is a farce, a ruse, a set of aesthetics and behaviors with no intrinsic connections outside of those our society has piled on top of them, which can still vary pretty significantly by sub-community or economic class or whatever else. basically like, for a woman to simply Not Do large prominent swathes of generic hollywood Femininity, she does not actually have to be gay, merely very cool.
