Shifting Sands General Headcanons

Shifting sands comic is an AU based of LU (hehe rhymes) and im very much obsessed with it! So I made some small and brief headcanons for the fuckers

Comic by @vaathnaos and includes only Sky, Time, Wind and Legend!

Sky, blessed with big beautiful lips, has to wear a lot of chap stick (or ointments similar to that) because his lips get dry often, especially after going down to the surface.

Sky is the PERFECT temperature at all times, making him the perfect cuddle buddy

Legend learned to sew from Ravio but is shit at it- unlike Ravio who actually has quite a skill for it.

Legend will only eat fruits/veggies with a knife, he says its cause he hates getting the juices on his hands but really, Sir Raven did it once and Legend thought it was so cool that he always does it now.

Wind didnt start drinking alcohol when he became a pirate, it was actually a common practice on Outset Island for foods to have some sort of alcoholic base to them (ie, curtain fish, breads, pastas were soaked in alcohol)

Wind loves the feeling of sand under his feet but HATES mud or wet grass, its slippery and wet and gooey and gross and it takes forever to clean off his feet.

Only thing that he hates more is wearing close toed shoes

Time has a habit of calling the others “boy,” something he picked up from the military as a General (its how he would often refer to his soldiers, yes even the fem soldiers)

Time takes the metaphor of 'having a hard head' and took it literally- that man is like Tanjiro from demon slayer and could knock out a Lynel w/ a headbutt

Time, Sky and Legend all call Wind different little nicknames, and its a unspoken competition on how wild they can get with them before Wind says something, so far Sky is winning (he's somehow managed to call Wind 'Small fry' without getting cursed out, Legend is pissed)

Time has called Legend a Punk, and Legend took the name with pride (he has no idea what that means but hes taking it as a good thing)

Theres been a few times where Sky would ramble about his Zelda and Legend would slowly turn to Time with a look up "please let me hit it," the look has been met with a shake of a head.

Echoes of Wisdom Headcanon Countdown

༺ Day 75▪︎ 25 Left

To follow up yesterday's post, Zelda and Link's travels (and the settlement they make near the Sealed Temple) ends up becoming the first of many Hyrules. It is the people who settle there with them (from various isles of Skyloft) who end up bringing Zelda’s role to that of a queen. She ends up denying such a title for the rest of her life, but it is ultimately the title she is recorded with by historians later on - as well as Hylia herself. It's the last thing she would have wanted, but such a legacy was what many would argue was inevitable. At the very least, around Link and her closest friends, she is still just their Zelda.

You know what. *head canons your sanders sides*

Janus: black, gender fluid, they/he/she/any neopronoun, either long hair or no hair no in betweens, autistic, dresses goth when not with the “light sides”, likes to cook for Remus, has a personal garden, takes care of lots of animals, muscular but the muscles are hidden under fat.

Remus: he/him, black/Asian mix, trans man, shoulder length hair that gets out of control because he refuses to brush it, lots of scars on his hands, face, and legs, made both his and Janus’ outfits, used to be a nerd like Logan in high school, two moms, is actually super smart, has tourettes.

Roman: he/she, black/Asian mix, adhd, wears wigs often, has the biggest room because half of it is literally just a stage, two moms, extensive collection of stuff he’s stolen from the others, is a gamer, used to be a jock in high school.

Patton: he/him, Indian, is one traumatic event away from being Remus, horrible at baking and cooking, touch starved, curly blond hair, legally blind.

Logan: he/it/xe/space, black, muscular, one of those people who is always cold no matter what, loves the rain, only side that actually took theater class, is able to lucid dream, he has tea with Janus on Friday.

Virgil: transfem nonbinary, they/she/he, bisexual, cosplayer, has been in dance classes for almost their entire life, makeup artist, regularly wears elf ears and fake fangs, definitely had a punk phase and refuses to acknowledge it.

Im going to draw my iteration of them all at some point but if anyone wants to draw them they can <3

Roman/Creativity Headcanons

Is in charge of the happier side of dreams, Remus deals with all of the other dreams. They themselves also dream sometimes what Thomas is dreaming which is great because then they actually get sleep

He uses face masks that smell like vanilla or apple cinnamon

Can be very easily angered if he does not get at least 6 hours of sleep and caffeine, one time Patton woke him up on accident and well um there was some screaming and blood involved

Gets really inspired at random times of the day so he might be writing at 12:42 am but it’s not like it’s his fault he just has IDEAS

Sometimes helps Patton make breakfast, on these days breakfast will be much more pastries and fancy little tarts rather than the normal pancakes

Is able to get Virgil out of a panic/anxiety attack with his singing once they are fighting less. His voice is calming and can be very helpful sometimes

Has mixed feelings on Janus, on one hand he LOVES stealing his hat but on the other he isn’t a whole fan of how Janus never lets them have fun

Works with Logan on writing things so that they can be informational and entertaining, they do need sleep though so all of the other drag them away from their work after awhile

Has a huge over the top bed that everyone spends Cuddle Tuesday in because it feels like if clouds and marshmallows had a child

headcanon: roman acts so confident that the others rarely ever think to compliment him. he's not used to being complimented, so on those rare occasions where he is, he gets all quiet & blushy & flustered

I know that there are headcanons that when Thomas gets a creative block, Roman fades to gets sick or locked in his room, etc

But what if he slowly loses the ability to speak and move? Like he is almost shutting down as Thomas loses his creative drive

Like Roman over the coarse of a particularly bad block he starts to move almost robotically, like he is very stiff and tense and his long dramatic monologues become short story and simple sentences to grunts and one word replies

And then Roman goes missing for a few days or doesn’t respond to a summon and everyone is like where’s our boy????? And they go check on Roman only to find him standing in front of his mirror in the middle of brushing his hair or sitting at his desk with his fingers still on a key frozen in place with his mouth open to call for help with silent tears and terror in his eyes because he hates this and can’t do anything oh god

If I were to make an account solely for writing would any of y’all be interested? Would you read literally anything? Because peeps I’ve got a LOT of ideas and stories that have never been published. I would take prompts and be interactive with anyone following me, and offer the little advice that I have. Please tell me if yall would be interested because I’m completely down for it.
