This fandom made a significant point to not use the “intrusive thoughts” tag because we knew important discussions and support were happening there. Please make a point to do that again with BLM-related hashtags. 

People are not there for your art, they are scrolling through news, advice, and even images/discussions of violence at the hands of police. It’s inappropriate and insensitive to put other content there, even when that content is intended to be supportive.

Take the BLM hashtag off your art posts, and spread messages like this one respectfully. This fandom has the ability to spread information really fast, but only if you’re willing to reblog messages like this OPs.

i finally realized that my old accepting morality au made literally no sense so i decided to tweak it a bit!!

in this new version of the au, patton, instead of encompassing both morality and emotion, is just emotion. his side name would be sentimentality

instead, thomas’ morals become a facet of logan, who, in this au, is justice (which i might change later on, but anyay)

i’m not sure what to call the new version of this au. maybe just accepting sentimenality for now

i had a wild idea yesterday: what if i redesigned my sides so they’d actually look at least remotely like thomas?

Roman and Patton go off on adventures together?  Taadaa, Patton starts posing dramatically and Roman is asking the dragon witch if they can just talk it out

Virgil and Roman have been marathoning Disney movies?  Bam, Virgil’s gestures become a lot more extravagant and Roman finds himself evil cackling

Patton and Logan are spending time together?  Bwah, Patton is nerding out over doctor who and Logan keeps accidentally telling puns

Logan and Roman are working on a project?  Swoosh, Roman’s vernacular ~mysteriously slips~ into Logan’s vocab cards, making him cry out “by Odin’s Beard!” and Roman starts pulling out those 12 point scrabble words

Virgil and Patton are chilling together, making cookies?  Suddenly, both of them get a lot better at hiding how much they hurt

💔 he sings to cope with negative emotions. it helps him calm down. it’s part of the reason why he sings so much

💔 (based on dream warrior roman) whenever he’s unable to save the other sides from their nightmares, he feels genuinely awful, despite the fact that they don’t know about it and probably wouldn’t even blame him for it. he fails to save virgil more times than he’d like to admit.

💔 (again, based on dream warrior roman) oddly enough, he can’t save himself from his nightmares, but he pretty much consistently lucid dreams. every time he has a nightmare, he’s fully aware and can’t save himself no matter how hard he tries.

instead of patton being a disney prince and virgil living in the real world.......

virgil lives in the fairytale world. he's the stepson and soon-to-be-successor of an evil enchantress, secretly wishing that he could live, at least for his world's standards, a normal life. he often feels like the world he lives in, with its magic and music and fantastical creatures, is just... too much for him. too dangerous. too loud. too... bright.

patton lives in the real world. he works several jobs to keep himself afloat. along with that, he does regular volunteer work at an orphanage. since he doesn't have any kids of his own, being somewhat of a father figure to so many kids is one of his only joys... but it doesn't pay the bills. constantly overworked and criminally underpaid, he always feels like he's fighting for any scrap of happiness.

so i remember thinking of this soulmate au where, until a pair of soulmates meet, one of them can't hear music and the other can only hear music.

imagine though. music-only people who make a living singing in parks, plazas, and other public places, hoping to find their soulmates.

a no-music person locking eyes with their soulmate at a festival, tearing up as jaunty festival music suddenly buzzes to life around them.
