Watching Daisy's love life getting increasingly insane is one of the most entertaining parts of the show. Like the list really goes:

●miles the normal human hacker guy from season 1

●hans from frozen but a nazi

●electricity wielding member of her mother's secret cult

●serial killer possesed by a flame headed vengeance demon

●her best friend's times travelling grandson

●captain america's ex's ex from the 50's

Daisy is so funny cause she’s so unbelievably desperate for love but like in a family and connection context because the SECOND she’s close to actually being with a man romantically shes suddenly SUPER casual and nonchalant it’s SOOOOO funny

I think people forget cause of how overshadowed it is by the hydra thing and wards obsession and how quick skye figures it out but pre hydra reveal when ward and skye were actually getting close to being together skye REPEATEDLY makes ward look like he’s delusional and desperate like it’s SO funny

During the hydra takeover he pulls out ALL the stops in his confession to skye he’s liek “I killed an innocent man😔for youu♥️♥️ because I love you!!! I did something so messed up cause I love you and now I’m gonna go do something super dangerous 🥺 I might even die- maybe I deserve it 👀 for being so evil, for you, evil for loving you👀 (don’t you wanna tell me how not evil I am👀) BUT uh like uh if I live maybe we can get that drink you invited me to haha it’s so crazy but Im now willing to go with you” and she goes “girl I know you and may are fucking” GAGGED “we live on the same plane I’m not stupid” HILARIOUS

when he tries to pull the “it’s different with you,,, I can’t control myself,,, your so not like other girls🥺🥺♥️♥️” she goes “I was offering to TALK with you!! Cause you suck at that and it’s my whole thing, I was not saying i want to sleep with you, you loser” it’s SOOOOOO funny AND THEN AGAIN ON THE BASE SHES DOING IT AGAIN hes out here debating his loyalty to hydra over her and she’s like “I kissed u cause you might’ve DIED lets chill out” she only starts being more forward with it after the hydra reveal cause she’s in fight flight fawn mode trying to deal with a psychopath

And Lincoln!!!! HAHA Mr med school was like “🥹🥹 we kissed so we’re official🥹🥹 let’s move in together” and she’s like “I am at work rn talk later” GIRL YOU BROUGHT HIM HERE!!! Like he calls himself her boyfriend and she’s chill with it but that was when she was swayed by HIVE!!! Honestly she was some of her most openly affectionate while with hive guess that whole comfort and connection and happiness thing helped her trust and commitment and avoidance issues (to bad what happened after)

She’s SOOOO funny I love her

Probably used to long distance relationships with problematic and older hacker guys she’s so not prepared for all,,, this

she’s a “let’s call once a month and talk about your feelings and have a big fight every once in a while and then never talk about it after” Truther

Girl wants a family for love and connection and for what she imagines and has seen (from a distance) it can be but she’s HAD romantic relationships so she believes she knows what those are like and they’re just not all that great (if it’s not Fitzsimmons daisy believes their relationship is perfect and she says it constantly)

She’s got these big ol sad brown eyes and a vulnerable disposition that draws em in and that she doesn’t actually open up or show that much vulnerability at ALL u will get emotions out of her, she loves emotions!! But good luck actually getting to any of that stuff inside the AUDIENCE doesn’t even know what most of her past was like other then BAD

Watching her romantic interests deal with all that is so funny I gotta say

My favorite is how Fitzsimmons deals with her BS tho they just call her out at every five seconds I mean god forbid a girl try and be misunderstood and mysterious and suicidal DAMN

I woke up this morning and my first thought was the realization that Daisy saw Lincoln die.

She’s actually the only team member who had to see it. Because of the vision. They all saw the ship over the screen but they couldn’t see inside the ship. But Daisy did. She heard his last words to her over the comms long after seeing it happen. She had that visual in her head with no idea who it was and she told Lincoln, who had no idea that was the last moment of his own life. On top of his death and heartbreaking final words to her, she SAW IT and with his death, that vision took on a much worse meaning than it already did. Because it was him.

unpopular opinion: staticquake would not have ended up together even if Lincoln was still alive. i love them, i love daisy, i love lincoln, they were adorable and i sobbed when he died, but every time i rewatch the show i see exactly why they killed off his character because even if he was alive, they would have written him out because he just wasn’t a good match for Daisy. two people can be good people and still not be good for each other and it’s simple as that. the relationship would have ended with pain either way, and while it would’ve been a lot less pain if he hadn’t had died, they still couldn’t have made it work no matter how much we all wish it would’ve

I think of all the canon AOS relationships, Mackelena was the healthiest lmao. We got Fitzsimmons over here, unhealthily reliant on each other ex. “I can’t think without Fitz” and the entire first episode of season three. We got StaticQuake which is all levels of unhealthy. They were both in a terrible place in life and him dying broke her. Philinda, the embodiment of ‘all divorces are a direct result of marriage, except whatever these two have got going on’. Then there’s Mackelena, no drama, I will save you and you will save me, but we have a healthy relationship. Kinda a slow burn but we love those. Ya they broke up in season six but they’re soul mates so they got back together. Most unghinged thing they ever did was Yoyo going into the framework to save him. Anyway, I didn’t say they were healthy, just healthiest.
