Update about accounts stealing content from Missa
Hello, I want to keep you updated on what is happening with this matter.
Today I want to tell you something sad and that makes me very angry… unfortunately the accounts that steal content from Missa have not been eliminated from YouTube, on the contrary, they have managed to take down the OFFICIAL VODS channel of Missa and now it no longer exists… you can say that the thieves won… :c
That discourages me a lot, and I'm very angry because until now these people continue uploading old Missa content and using disgusting thumbnails to attract attention…
It bothers me too much because I think YouTube should pay more attention to this case since Missa is a big enough creator that they are interested in solving this problem.
I hate abusive people too much… it's not fucking fair!!
For those who steal content for clout, FYI not everything on the internet is ‘’free’’.
People’s own original creations like their words, their artwork or even the images they make (for example, GIF’s) technically count as one’s own intellectual property. It belongs in some way to the OP and should not be re-posted elsewhere without proper credit or permission from the OP.
Tumblr is a website built to reblog, as in sharing the original post. There should be no issue of claiming someone else’s work as your own, right?
Right?
But I know most of y’all be like: "Well you put it online, so it is mine now. You get no credit, compensation, and I don't need your consent". Smells like theft and a denial of the origin where it was stolen.
Unfortunately people who steal content from other people’s blogs don’t care. They're doing it for free and for fun. Artists and writers are naturally upset when their work is stolen because it takes serious skills to create what they've spent years honing and perfecting. Imagine spending hours or even weeks making GIF’s, drawing art, or writing poetry or fiction only to see someone else re-post it for their own personal gain in a matter of minutes--less than half the time it took for you to make it. Stealing content doesn’t require a large amount of skill. It’s plagiarism.
So, next time you think about stealing someone’s work, keep this mind:
It can take five hours (or more) to create that post.
It takes you five minutes (or less) to simply copy and paste it (or download the image and reupload it on another website or whatever).
Think before you steal.
Don’t claim the work as your own.
Use the reblog button. That’s what it’s there for.
And for the love of hay, don’t edit the original post and remove the author’s/ artist’s credits. That’s just petty.

Well this is shitty and I hate when this happens, it really kills the inspiration and the want to continue honestly.
