Absolute Hawkman and DC’s Golden Age Reborn in Absolute Evil #1
Over the weekend, DC confirmed at Retailer Day during Rose City Comic Con 2025 that Absolute Hawkman will debut in Absolute Evil #1, written by Al Ewing, with art by Giuseppe Camuncoli, and Stefano Nesi — hitting shelves October 1. A glimpse of him can already be seen on the cover to the first issue.
DC’s Director of Special Sales, Greg Gustin, also teased that the series will introduce “a couple of new Absolute heroes — or maybe anti-heroes.” Along those lines, Bleeding Cool revealed rumored timeline-style story descriptions of the Absolute Golden Age characters making their debut (SPOILERS AHEAD):
