Do you consider Hippodamia being a demigod since her nother is a pleiad?

Or do you like her to be more closer to Perseus' family by having her be Perseus' cousin?

I kinda go back and forth over which one I prefer, since both have potential y’know?

Like we don’t know anything about Hippodamia’s relationship with her mother, if it’s Evarete and she’s married to Oenomaus is she powerless to help her daughter or complicit? If her mother is Sterope the goddess was she a present parent or was she in the heavens among the stars?

I think about the statue in the Temple of Zeus, Olympia, depicting who was likely Oenomaus’s wife, just look at her uncertain body language.

Given that Atlas is associated with the Atlas Mountains in northwest Africa and, in some sources, is described as the first king of Mauretania (modern-day Morocco and western Algeria), a region historically inhabited by the Amazigh/Berber people (and interestingly enough, the Tuareg people refer to the pleiades as the “daughters of the night” in their folklore), would it be a reach.. idk, I like to imagine Hippodamia as half Amazigh if we follow the version in which Sterope, daughter of Atlas, is her mother but that’s just my interpretation.

I prefer Sterope the Pleiade as Hippoddamia's mother rather than grandmother because (A) more sources list Sterope as Oenomaus's wife than mother

(B) I like to imagine Hippodamia having somewhat of a superiority complex

She sees herself as Pelops's equal when it comes to divine heritage, both their mothers are daughters of Atlas and their fathers are both demigod sons of an Olympian and a nymph.

Being cheated on with a Naiad, someone who she does not view above her, and seeing that Naiad's bastard son be favored over any of her own stings her badly.

It would hurt either way but she's a beautiful woman who knows her worth and has everything she thinks Pelops could want. And it's not her fault that she's not enough for him! She should be enough... but he's too much like Zeus and she's too much like Hera.
