Marvel and Disney Ask "What If...? Donald Duck Became Iron Man"

Marvel Comics and Disney's "What If...?" one-shots will continue with writers Luca Barbieri and Steve Behling and artist Donald Soffritti's Marvel & Disney: What If...? Donald Duck Become Iron Man #1. The comic is inspired by Tales of Suspense (1959) #39 by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby that featured the very first appearance of Iron Man.

"Donald Duck finds himself in the clutches of the Beagle Boys, forced to build a machine designed to crack into his Uncle Scrooge’s Money Bin! Donald has other plans and builds the ultimate suit of armor! Can the fearless fowl foil the plans of the Beagle Boys and make it to his date with Daisy Duck?" (Marvel Comics)

Marvel & Disney: What If...? Donald Duck Become Iron Man #1 goes on sale on May 28, 2025. The comic sports a main cover by Donald Soffritti and variant covers by Mark Brooks, Phil Noto, and Dan Panosian. Noto's cover is also available as a virgin variant.
