Once again thinking about how mad I am at Tony and Nebula for not telling Clint and Natasha the price of the soul stone. They knew, they both knew! Nebula and Tony were there when Peter Q had his freak out. They both knew and they allowed the two people who were the closest out of anyone to go. Clint advocated to Nat when she joined SHIELD, she is an aunt to his kids, HE NAMES A KID AFTER HER!
They really couldn’t take 5 min and think “hey, whoever we send, someone’s not coming back” Tony and Nebula KNEW one of them wasn’t coming back
And don’t came at me with the “oh well they didn’t know it had to be someone you love, Thanos never told Nebula all the details” BS! Thanos took Gamora to Vormir and then he came back WITH the soul stone and WITHOUT Gamora. They knew someone had to die!
I do have to say, as much as I love Nat I think it had to be her. Clint has a whole family, and not to say Nat’s relationships mean less or anything, but his kids deserve to grow up with their dad. I also don’t think Nat would be able to forgive herself. I mean Clint already has so much guilt about it, imagine Nat blaming herself, imagine Nat having to tell Laura and the kids that Clint didn’t make it.
So ya I’m saying it, Tony and Nebula killed Natasha, idk if that’s a hot take but it’s my take
In my next post I will go into why Steve should have gotten the soul stone bc this one is getting long
Hey so I haven’t watched Falcon and the Winter Soldier yet so please don’t spoil anything in the comments. This is set right before Steve goes through time one last time.
DISCLAIMER: I don’t own Captain America he belongs to Marvel.
WARNINGS: angst, swearing, grief.

SUMMARY: You and Steve had been together since the Avengers had split 7 years prior and you believed you were happy. After Tony had set things right you walk with Steve as he prepares to travel in time you notice something off about Steve that makes you doubt the past 7 years.
You held on tight to his hand as you and him walked to where Bucky and Sam were waiting for him. The super soldier had insisted that you walk with him there.
Steve had been uncharacteristically quiet since you had left the funeral. Though that was to be expected, although Tony and Steve never got along they were still friends and had been through hell together. However, there was something in his blue eyes that made you believe that the silence was more than him mourning.
Tony had been like a brother to you and it had hurt when you faced each other on opposite sides during the Sokovia Accords. The only good thing to come out of it was this man beside you. You remembered how Steve had kissed you when he broke you and the rest out of the Raft. He searched you for any injuries and while in the middle of insuring him you were fine, he had kissed you with what felt like everything he had. and during those years on the run you had run together. You and him even talked about getting out, about finally settling down somewhere remote and just start living as close as you could get to a normal civilian life.
These past 5 years after the first time you faced Thanos in Wakanda you had rebuilt the bridge between you and Tony back up and when Morgan was born You were named her godmother in case something were to happen to both him and Pepper. You often came by to babysit or have dinner with the Stark family. Tony often praised how his baby girl was a genius and how she was going to be even smarter than he was just like her mother. More or less you had that life you talked about with Steve, settling down and being as normal as possible. There were still missions every now and then and dealing with the loss that occurred.
So when Scott came back and said that there was a way to get everyone back. You understood Tony’s hesitancy, you yourself were hesitant as well. You cherished the family you had found but you also cherished the family you had lost.
In the end you helped get the stones, you had gone with Thor and Rocket to retrieve the Reality Stone while everyone else went their separate ways.
Steve held you as you mourned Natasha, she had been the only other person besides Steve and Tony who knew your past.
Before Steve and Tony, Nat had been the one to comfort you during your nightmares. Recounting the experimentation your ‘parents’ had put you through. the abandonment when they had left you in the lab while it was on fire, claiming they had no other choice than that you had been a failed experiment and that the next one would be a far greater success than you ever would be. How sick to your stomach you were when you had found their bodies in the hallway after breaking out of your restraints.
You fell to your knees as you realized what had happened.
You should have known it would have happened.
It always happens.
and it happened again.
The hole that Tony left was the size of Natasha’s. You wish you could tell him about Morgan and how much smarter she’s gotten and how strong she’s been through this along with Pepper. How everyone had been there, how loved he had been in the end.
You held on tighter to Steve’s hand, you thanked whatever there was out there that looked out for you that they at least kept Steve safe and by your side.
Finally the silence was too much, there was a pit in your gut that weighed as heavily as vibranium.
“Steve,” you broke the silence, the tall man turned his head, his sky blue eyes finding yours. “are you ok?” You realized it was a stupid thing to ask, you knew he wasn’t but you couldn’t help. You needed to know.
“I’m alright doll don’t worry so much about me.” He lifted your joined hands and gently placed a kiss on the back of yours. You would have believed him were it not for you feeling his blood pressure rise as he said it.
You continued to walk but the heavy feeling in your gut felt heavier with each step and your hands had begun to tremble slightly. Like it was the last walk you and him were going to ever take together.
Finally stopping a couple hundred yards away from where you could see Bucky and Sam. Steve turned to you, his large hands seemed to linger, his fingers gently brushing up and down your arms before resting on your face, brushing his calloused thumb over your cheeks before finally leaning down and kissing you.
You and him had kissed countless times, his soft and short kisses to the ones that took your breath away and left you weak at the knees.
This was a kiss you had never experienced before.
His lips pressed onto yours firmly and pulled your frame to his. He let his hands roam gently and meticulously. Almost like he was trying to memorize what you felt like. You did the same, trying to convert every touch and feel into memory.
When he pulled back you saw it in his eyes.
He wasn’t going to come back.
Tears welled in your eyes when you remember what Tony had told you about their mission. About how Tony saw his dad.
About how Steve saw Peggy.
Denial came first, Steve wouldn’t do that you were just being dramatic. But the way he was looking at you told you that you were wrong.
“You’re not coming back are you.” It wasn’t a question, his eyes then dropped their gaze to the ground below them and he gave you a nod. You yanked yourself away from him as though his touch had burned you. He tried reaching back out to hold you and on impulse you slapped his hands away, denial had moved away and now anger was running its course in your veins.
“You do not get to hold me like that, like I matter to you when you’re going back to her.” You had tried to even your tone but the anger in you left your body shaking and weak. Steve stopped trying to hold you when he saw how distraught he had made you.
“I never could live up to the great and beautiful Peggy Carter... there wasn’t even a shot in hell, was there.”
“Doll don’t sa-”
“Do NOT call me ‘doll’,You do not get to call me that anymore, you lost that right.” Your voice was finally betraying how angry you were. You felt the damn inside you burst, tears suddenly start pouring and sobs start wracking your body. Finally you let Steve hold you as you were breaking down. He held you firmly even though you tried pushing away until finally you let him hold you.
Your heart was breaking, you could feel each shard of your heart splinter and break over and over again.
7 years. You had loved this man for 7 years and you felt like the biggest fool alive. Because while you may have loved him and he may have loved you for 7.
He had loved Peggy for 80.
Part of you wanted to beg him not to go, to say that you would be better and that he wouldn’t even need to be with you, all he would need to do was stay.
Just stay.
You didn’t. You knew that it wouldn’t matter if you begged and pleaded and whatnot. You could suddenly turn into the most beautiful woman in the world and it wouldn’t matter.
Because you weren’t Peggy Carter.
Finally your sobs had eased and you tore yourself away from his arms. You pushed every feeling down and looked at him in the eyes. His eyes were full of sadness and pity as you looked into them one last time. You gathered whatever strength you had left and tore your eyes away knowing that, that was the last time you would ever see them.
“I hope you have a good life Captain Rodgers. I hope it’s everything you’ve ever wanted.” and with that you take one step, and then another, the further and further away from him you got the more uncontrollable all your other feelings become.
Finally you reach your car and finally you couldn’t stop the sobs and shakes any longer. You tried your best to muffle the sounds escaping for you as you wept. Only one thought came across.
You should have known it would’ve ended like this. You alone in a car and your heart in pieces again. Your breathing became erratic and your eyes burned from all the tears.
You were in such despair that you didn’t even notice until you felt a hand on your shoulder that someone had gotten into the car with you. For one shining moment you had wondered if Steve had changed his mind. You whipped your head to look at the passenger only to see the only other person that might have an idea of what you were going through.
Wanda was not in a better condition than you were. Her eyes were rimmed red and her cheeks had sunken in in grief. She too had lost everything.
She had lost her Vision.
You had lost your Captain.
You sort of just sat in the car with her after that comforting each other listening to whatever came on the radio. Song after song played and you realized.
Life must go on.
Hey there may be a part 2 let me know in the comments if you would be interested in something like that.
I don't know if you heard of the case of the Menendez brothers. Whether or not you heard of it, please read as I explain the case because I realised many people still don't know important facts about this case and misjudge the brothers.
Warning: mention of violence, abuse, rape
Before I start, if you want to know more details about this case I have an other account called @free-the-menendez-brothers I'll post detailed post about the witnesses, evidences, details about the abuse, etc.
What the case is about:
Back in 1989 the brothers Lyle and Erik shot their parents. They were rich kids so people assumed that they killed them because of money. But actually they did it out of self defence.
The brothers have been going through sexual, emotional and physical abuse their whole life. Their mother used to slap them, tell them they ruined her life and blamed them for thinks she did wrong so their dad would punish the boys and not her. Their dad wanted them to become big man. He put pressure on them, slapped them if they did something wrong and used to "massage" them how he called it. But actually he touched their private area and gave them what he called "mouth massages"(I think you all know what he did) or anal sex. He did this to Lyle in his early years but stopped eventually. To Erik he did this until the brothers killed him. He even used to stick needles in Erik's thigh to teach him how to handle pain. He told the boys that he would kill them if they ever told anyone.
Now there was evidence to this such as witnesses for example teachers who recognised the pressure that was put on those kids, neighbours who visited the family and were shown violent porno videos that the two brothers had to watch too, family members who weren't allowed to leave certain areas of the house when the dad went into Erik's bedroom (and got raped),... There are also pictures that show the brothers sitting on their fathers lap and the fathers hand touching Lyles genetal area or pictures taken of the boys lower naked body. I watched many trial videos and am currently watching the whole 1993 trial so I know these are facts. There are also videos of the trial where they are crying and these are real emotions. They have been analysed by experts and on YouTube by people who learned how to read people. They didn't fake their emotions which speaks for the abuse. On the night they killed their parents they were in fear. Their whole life long the dad told them he would kill them if they told anybody. They acted out of self defence.
(This is what I heard) there was more than one trial so in the last trial they left out the abuse because they didn't believe that rich families had problems. They just talked about them killing their parents for money which is why they ended up in prison and won't get out of it anymore.
There even have been shows making fun of the boys which is absolutely not okay!
The boys deserve a new trial where they get judged fair! There are cases where people don't go to jail at all for killing someone because they acted out of self defence when it was a violent situation or rape. Just because people thought rich kids have no problems they sent the Menendez brothers to prison where they were separated for years and thought they would never see each other again before being moved to the same prison.

The petition is for free so you don't have to pay anything, however you can donate. Let's help these two boys. They have been through enough already. They were in prison for a long time and deserve a second chance in life.
"Everybody tells me about the Dodgers and then they look like they want to take cover." He huffed and glared at the traffic. "I'm not that fragile."
Darcy bumped his shoulder with hers, which was not unlike bumping a concrete bunker, but, good sport that he was, he swayed a little with her bump.
"It has nothing to do with fragility, Steve. There are people who are still heartbroken about it. My dad -- my other dad, Paul, you know -- his dad is from Sheepshead Bay, and they've sworn to never go to a Dodgers game. I mean, come on, dad wasn't even alive when the Dodgers moved to LA, and he was born in Burbank. Grandpa Jim is seriously still bitter. That wound is raw, my friend, and passed down from generation to generation."
SO I SEE A LOT ABOUT LIKE PETER PARKER CONFUSING TONY AND SOME OF THE OLDER ADULTS WITH MEMES.
AND LIKE SOME PEOPLE THINK NAT WOULD KNOW THRM ALL. OR THAT PETER WOULD TEACH CAP.
BUT ARE WE FORGETTING. CLINT HAS KIDS.
HE WOULD HAVE BEEN TAUGHT ALL THE VINES.
THROWS A GRENADE. SHOUTS YEET. PETER IS CONFUSION BECAUSE HE DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING. NAT IS JUST SMIRKING. TONY IS PISSED PFF BECAUSE NOW THERE'S ANOTHER ONE.
