OKAY NONHUMAN QUESTION TIME - do any of y'all ever wish that others would name you instead of choosing your own name? There seems something inherently human in choosing a name to me; I've always wanted to have my name selected by other people as if I was an animal who would not consider that itself. Not even in a dog way; wild animals too receive names from humans, though of course domestic animals come immediately to mind.
Any other alterhumans wish that humans would give them names?
I can’t believe I’m saying this but thank the gods for my job. I was NOT doing well mentally today and my job provides enough distraction that i don’t have to think about anything at all. Doesn’t matter who’s fronting, because we all have to answer the phone the same way. Doesn’t matter what shifts i feel or the power that i lack because we’re all just talking to silly people on the phone and reciting the scripts we all know by heart :) It doesn’t matter that a crow or Killua Zoldyck is cold calling strangers because I’m in a room full of people cold calling strangers!
Pictures from our trip to the aquarium! This was the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga TN. Its my favourite aquarium I have been to so far, and its super cool because there are 2 separate buildings for the salt and fresh water fish.
There were lots of really cool guys that we saw, my favourite is always the Arapaima (Pirarucu). They had a touch pool for sting rays and a little shark, and a touch pool for little sturgeons.
I have this weird polytherian worry that is literally the exact OPPOSITE of every other polytherian that I see on my dashboard and it makes me so nervous...like seeing all these people constantly confirming and rejecting theriotypes makes me feel weird that I know exactly what mine are
Like am I fake because I already figured my 'types out?? Is that not something I'm supposed to know yet? Augh I just worry I'm in some way not being a polytherian "correctly" even though that's bullshit because I'm being myself and that's what being a polytherian or any therian is.
I still always worry that I know too much about my own personal therianthropy

I have some exciting news to share! I finally opened up and talked with my fiancé about a lot of stuff last night.
The last topic was about my alterhumanity and how I don't feel human. How I get phantom shifts, how I feel like I don't belong in this body.
He looked at me a breathed a sigh of relief, causing me to no longer worry, but to be confused.
He took my paws ever so gently and looked at me sweetly. "I'm so glad you got that off your chest, I've always felt like I was some sort of stingray!"
I got so excited! I asked him all about it, making sure I was careful not to overwhelm him with all the terms but I think?? My fiancé? Is a modular mobular therian!
He knows of the community, but not the details, so I'm gonna see if he's up for more questions and terms tonight to see what labels he's comfy with!
So hey!! Any stingrays or mantas out there? Any kind at all? Just want to show him that there are other like him :]

The Spinetail Devil Ray is the one he felt like the most, very dorito shaped were his words lol. He loves and has a connection with the deep blue depths of the ocean (but not too deep), the little flap flaps the rays do, he loves swimming, the beach, the ocean,, that kind of theme! I hope that's enough,,, the guy grew up in Cali and swam everyday if you need more inspo ^^
