allow me to rant for a moment about how people talk about a certain character

angel from lilo and stitch

i often see angel brought up in conversation about how media portrays “the girl version of characters” as being pink, with long eyelashes, wide hips, and long hair.

people have a tendency to site angel as one of these characters. while i won’t deny that she has these features, i think people often leave out the context of why these features are present.

angel’s purpose (when created by jumbah) was to revert any experiments that had stopped being destructive back to their intended nature. she is, by design, essentially a siren.

her introduction is her seducing stitch so that she can sing her song to him. (this does not work because of a flaw in her design, but that’s not relevant)

she is designed to lure in other experiments. that is why she’s traditionally feminine and seductive.

while i’m sure marketing played a large factor in her creation, i think it’s important to keep in mind that she isn’t just “girl stitch.” she follows such similar design principles to him because she’s only two experiments prior (624 vs 626).

there are a bunch of female experiments in the lilo and stitch canon, and angel is pretty much the only one who looks like this.

i just wanted to share this for those who aren’t aware since it bothers me a little when people talk about my girl angel like that. rant over lol.

Just a little something I did for the main five experiments of Lilo and Stitch on the top and of my three favorite experiments from the anime that Stitch received in the late 2000's: Cyber, the first experiment Jumba ever made and went rogue, Dark End, possibly the best villain experiment out there, and Experiment 610 Witch, who could possess people.

Going back to the main five, I love them all just the same, Stitch of course being the best. If I were to rank the others, I'd say Angel, Leroy, 627, and Ruben(I love the sandwich boyo alright). Even though Experiment/Project 628 was never revealed at all, I have made my own fannon 628 to be apart of my canon and to join the main five to become the main six.

Ive been pissed for almost 2 decades at the lack of merch of the other cousins from lilo and stitch. Like i love sparky more than stitch why cant i get a big sparky plush, a pin or a figurine? The world is a horrible place because we never got a cousins plush line. Also why are you ignoring the other cute cousins build a bear??? I've been done with all the different color stitch plushies... Where is our new stitch cartoon? Ugh
