I'm tired of people criticising Stone femmes;

Yes a femme can be stone because of traumas

BUT

She doesn't have to? She can also be stone femme by choice, by deliberate choice, just as a stone butch can identify as stone just because.

And it's none of your business.

Besides, what difference does it make to you if a girl is stone femme or stone butch? At the end of the day what is important is that everyone is safe and feels serene, what kind of engagement happens under the sheets of a couple it's just the couple's interest, not yours.

Being a stone femme isn't selfish;

Being a stone femme isn't valid just if you explain that you had traumas or just in virtue of that, it can be a personal choice, it can be still valid without having to justify it.

You don't owe any explanation nor justification to anyone.

The world is so wide and varied and complex and I personally do even believe in soulmates, but that again it's another subject I'll talk about another time.

You are valid, wether you are femme or not, whether you are butch or not, wether you do not identify nor as butch nor as femme, you are valid, you are still valid nonetheless.

Hi there! I don’t think there’s anything weird about anything when it comes to sexual preferences which rely on comfort/discomfort. There is no such thing as being “weird” for wanting/not wanting to do something, it is not an exclusivity of stone butches to prefer to give and not receive.

However, the term “stone” is lesbian only... Although not butch-only. Yes it is much more commonly linked to butches, butch we’ve heard of other lesbians who would like to call themselves stone, and that is perfectly fine (according to actual stone lesbians [x][x][x])

I personally think there is importance in keeping the term “stone” in the lesbian community only, as it is part of our history and culture, but if you’re a lesbian, I don’t see why you should worry about calling yourself stone.

And if you don’t wanna use stone... Preferring to not be touched is okay. No one can dictate your personal sexual experiences, and the experiences you and your partners have are your business alone.
