There are so many artists I adore on this app that I won't at all or barely interact with coz I've learnt they ship it. And before you say "it's not, it's not!" A proship has one of two meanings. A ship that is pro all types(basically meaning it can be really bad) or problematic ship and as a character dynamic they are MEANT to be problematic. But not to the extent of being shipped together? I'm gonna like add on here and sound like a chronically online expert(please kill me) but do you know the difference between we darkship and a compship? Compships are Complex ships. Doesnt necessarily have to be "bad" but 9/10 times it's used for a ship that is *morally* complex. This includes things such as Power imbalances, inc*st and *buse. In which in quite a few episodes we see Cartman carrying multiple of these traits onto Kyle, so we not? Have none of you witnessed Ginger Cow? A Darkship is a ship that uses "dark", " disgusting " and "taboo" themes in it's nature think murder/victim, *buser/victim, there is ALWAYS a power imbalance in these ships that it feels like your missing when you created Kyman. There's a reason the proshipper community took these words and you all need to jam it in your brains that maybe Eric Cartman and Kyle Broflovski actually shouldn't date.

guys can we stop shipping solarmoon pls. if u ship solar x moon from the sun and moon show, you are supporting a proship!!!! solarmoon is an incest ship! for those who dont know what a proship is in this context, its shipping two or more characters together whom are either related by blood, adopted, or view one another as family. sure, solar MAY be from a different universe initially, so he’s not directly related to pretty much anyone in the TSaMS dimension by code, but he is still their family!! he has directly called Moon his brother!!!

Want an example? Sure! In the “Moon and Solar Become VAMPIRES! in VRChat” video, Solar says, “Me and my brother just got bit.” Want a timestamp? Of course. 02:31.

Both Davis and Reed (the VAs of Solar and Moon) have directly stated that they do NOT feel comfortable with that ship as the two characters view each other as brothers and have pretty much adopted Solar into the family!!

If this doesn’t change your mind, let’s use a real life example! Let’s say your family consists of you, your mom, and your dad. Simple, right? Well, one day, your parents legally adopt a child around the same age as you! What does that make that child to you? Your adopted sibling. Let’s say you were to start dating said sibling. Technically, they aren’t related to you, but that doesn’t make it any less better. They are practically YOUR sibling, YOUR family!! It is objectively morally wrong to date your adopted sibling!

Now, let’s put that example into perspective with Solar and Moon. The two of them don’t really have parents, but that doesn’t really matter too much. Sun, Moon (New Moon initially, then disowned Nexus, and then came Old Moon), Cosmos, and Terra (which are all technically related by code/creator), agreed to accept Solar into their family. Solar is their adopted brother, yes, another variant of an Eclipse who is STILL TECHNICALLY RELATED TO THEM, but still their BROTHER!

so to sum it up, STOP SHIPPING SOLARMOON. if you have to make an AU just so the ship can be legal, that says something. That’s not a good thing btw. you are supporting PROSHIPPING AND INCEST by shipping these two together! now, i can’t force you to do anything (obviously), but i can only hope that people stop. jeez, this is just like the monty and moon thing back in the day 🫩
