Has anyone who spends any sort of time on TikTok noticed how many videos with captions about Storm Goretti they stumble upon?
What is up with that?
Is it really all made by the same bot farm? That’s wild.

Hell yeah brother! I’m in the yellow!!! Let’s gooo
In all seriousness, please don’t drive or travel unless you have to and keep an ear on weather updates.
Also keep your animals in shelter! I can see a lot of livestock suffering in this.
Pink Skies!
Mysterious pink skies were spotted in the West Midlands on Thursday night as heavy snow fell during Storm Goretti.
Social media speculation suggested the phenomenon was a vivid sunset or the Northern Lights making an appearance.
The truth was far more down-to-earth - the source was lights used on the pitch at Birmingham City's football ground.
Hednesford Town Football Club posted on social media that a similar phenomenon was caused by their LED lights that help the grass “grow and recover”.
BBC weather presenter Simon King said cloud cover and falling snow meant the sky could be more reflective, showing a glow from lights nearby.

Another round of snow and cold
so we decided to cancel our trip because i'm unwell - and it was a good shout because i was just startled awake by the SCARIEST thunderclap of hail!! giant bits the size of golf balls 😱
Another duvet day for me. No storms here.
This pretty much sums up the UK Midlands today.
Keep safe everyone! And be sensible, don't travel unless it's essential (Like poor Poppy here).
Edit: changes made to the shading on the snow. Original under the cut.
