Everypne loved this picture of me last year, except me! Before strokes my face was symmetrical. After my 5 strokes, MY face was only half of MY face. The drooping (facial paralysis) was a hard pill to swallow. The healing process after my 3rd stroke was more than physical it was & is mental. Havin Bipolar 1 doesn't help. I still don't feel completely comfortable with my face but as you see I refuse to hide. This is something I can't change. Over time my facial paralysis has gotten better. Like the partial paralysis in my hand & leg. This is me & I'm learnin to love all of me. It's been it's been 2 years since my last stroke & my facial paralysis is 40% gone. I am on a treatment plan for my bipolar1 disorder. Yep a self taught #mua with paralysis in her hand & face!
