Indian Sport Psychologists’ Association (INSPA) organised Mind The Gap 2024, the first Sports Psychologists' conference in India.
International Institute of Sports & Management (IISM) is the venue partner for the two-day conference on 15th March 2024 and 16th March 2024.
IISM's students played an important role in the proceedings of the conference by being the backbone looking after the backend of the conference.
The conference was surely a great learning experience for our students as the insightful sessions and power packed workshops along with informative presentations will give them a upper-hand in their careers.
The second day of the conference begun with a workshop, 'From Insight to Enterprise: Mastering the Sport Psychology Consultation Process Practice' conducted by Mr. Amit Gadkari & Ms. Varadayini Gorhe
The guests for the second panel discussion of 'Mindful Partnerships: Unveiling the Role of Stakeholders in Sports and the Crucial Impact of Mental Health on Athlete Support' were Mr. Deepthi Bopaiah, Ms. Chaitanya Sridhar, Mr. Shiva Keshavan & Mr. G. Rajaram. Ms. Sanika Divekar helmed the panel.
Boria Mazumdar was the keynote addressee for the day. The guests for the third panel discussion were Mr. Ramji Srinivasan, Ms. Shiny Surendran, Ms. Janki Deole & Ms. Harini Murali. The panel was conducted by Ms. Varadayini Gorhe.
The afternoon session begun with a workshop on 'Ethics Unveiled: Navigating the Approval Process for Sport Psychology Research in India' by Ms. Neeta Tatke.
The conference proceeded with oral presentations and scoping review by the INSPA team.
The powerpacked day concluded with a prize distribution on a positive note.
