Hey everyone, I’m Isabella! I’m so excited to document my journey of studying, organization, and productivity.
About me:
I’m a second year at UCSB
I'm nineteen and live on the beach #westcoastbestcoast
I’m a Filipino-Spanish-American
I speak English and am studying Spanish and Tagalog on my own!
I’m an ENFP, Libra, somewhere between Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, and my favorite colors are yellow and pink
Interests:
MUSIC! I sing in an all-female acapella group Vocal Motion and play the ukulele. I started piano when I was 4 and violin when I was 10 so I’m a huge classical music fan! I have a super eclectic music taste and LOVE talking about music/exploring new music if you have any recommendations or want to talk about music!
Travelling! I’ve been to the US, Mexico, England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Russia, Switzerland, Indonesia, and the Philippines. My family lives in different countries so travelling is a very important part of my life.
Reading! I'm starting The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and am working on A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith.
I love pretty lettering, stationery, school supplies, pastels, glitter, twinkle lights, stuffed animals, and cute packaging! (among a million other things.)
Courses I'm taking this quarter:
Earth Sciences - Dinosaurs
Linguistics - Language and Power
Art - Visual Literacy
English - Introduction to Literary Study
Why make a studyblr?
I love incorporating lettering and colors into my notes and want to share them with people who will appreciate it!
I also love stationery so I want to share my collection and how I organize my school supplies as well as get recommendations.
Since I left for college I’ve been getting distracted and sidetracked from my schoolwork, so I want to focus on strengthening my work ethic.
I also want to get back into a positive mindset about studying. I want to be excited about learning and be productive because I enjoy what I’m doing!
I also want to strengthen my preexisting study habits, stay organized, and plan things out ahead of time.
My goals:
To put 110% of my effort into my schoolwork instead of half-assing things
To dedicate lots of time to schoolwork while staying active in campus organizations
To become the best treasurer ever this year
To graduate in four years or less
To pay for my schooling with scholarships
To establish myself as a kick-ass lawyer and work my way up to a partnership with a wonderful firm
rules: list 10 goals you have for the next 10 years, write it down or save it somewhere you can find it again, then tag 10 people.
I was tagged by @scholasticus-medicinae :) thank you.
