Your bot lane always losing? This is probably why...
Your bot lane doesn't know how to trade, and is locked in terror of losing lane so much that their response to being pressured is to, you guessed it, lose lane hard. This is because they see trading as a zero-sum game, where if they are engaged on, all they can do is run and hope to engage next time.
This type of thinking is very common, and luckily super easy to overcome, which practice. For more information, details, and some pokemon references, check out my full write up!
Cass looks like a bundle of E fury after her changes, plus ....

Patch Notes 4.15: GNAR (!!)

Ranked Story #1: Placement Match 4
And so it begins, with with a typical silver level game.
As it turned out, Heimerdinger ended up being my opponent, a fact I learned after starting with a Dorans Blade. I resigned myself to a boring lane, and began farming. At level 6, after a quick trip back netted me an avarice blade, boots, and null mantle, my jungler arrived top for a quick gank netting my first kill. After that, I kept farming, finishing the avarice blade, merc treads, and a tiamat before my jungler returned, quickly turning the lane to my favor.
END RESULT:
While very simple, I do want to give some tips/insight:
#1: In hard matchups, just stick to farming. Even though I couldn't touch Heim (because of his regen and ability to trade back), I was able to keep up with him in farm, and get ahead of him after the first fight. Trying to fight when you can't win will put you very far behind, whereas getting 4-5 cs behind in lane instead (but not dying) will keep things much more in your favor.
#2: Buy for the situation, don't go in with a solid build plan. If I had been losing, I probably would have rushed the hexdrinker and a vamp scepter over avarice blade->shiv. While this was more of a stomp, in most games, people buy Sunfire Cape/Randuins+Spirit Visage on bruisers, regardless of the situation. If you're against a 5 melee team, even if Visage has "synergy with your kit," more armor will probably keep you alive longer. If you're the adc and you can't rely on your team to peel for you (either the enemies comp or just their lack of skill), get a defensive item over a 3rd offensive item. Your 1337 DPS goes down to 0 if you're dead.
