A look at the structure and flow of the Axilla. (Arm pit) It’s really a #triangle of serratus anterior, subscapularis and the Pectoralis muscles holding space between your humerus, shoulder blade and rib cage. It’s an important space for blood flow (lightly depicted) and nerves (Not pictured). If we don’t have blood flow, we don’t feel. Nerves are not electrical wires that can just flick on and off like the electrical outlets in your house. Nerves must be washed and bathed in blood (sounds gory) to provide proper feedback between brain and body. Because I was on spleen, I became curious to look at this regularly congested area. The spleen Meridian is included, as well as its arm line pair, the Heart meridian. How do you open up your axilla? Ever considered it before today? Personally, I love surfing (the paddling part) and when I can’t surf, hanging/swinging/climbing.
