it is meant to be subtle. most of us that are like this experienced trauma at an early age, and because we were young and still growing up, we... splinter. split into personalities rather than stay just one. it's to cope with the trauma, whether ongoing or not, and to keep the entire self safe.
thats why its subtle. to be the opposite of that would be like... flashing a bright sign that says "hey i have trauma come bother me". its to keep the self safe.
i won't deny that phenex suddenly switches temperaments a lot, but i rather think its a full fledged trauma response instead of entirely switching the self to a different person. phenex has always been phenex, never really anyone else. - jester

ESPECIALLY IF SAID CHARACTER IS BLACK.

I've converted my friend to the dark side
I've had a thing for horror movie slashers (Chucky, Jason, Bubba, etc) since I started watching horror movies in 6th grade. (I technically watched horror movies even before then, but that was when I took the plunge into horror 100% on my own rather than watching them with my dad or something 😂) Now my friend who has lived with me for years has began crushing on Jason and Leatherface. I've done it. It took me 6 years, but I now have a friend who loves slashers as much as me. 🤣
