could we have your thoughts on the legendary beasts' shiny forms?
Raikou: Raikou's shiny is not only good, but better than the original (at least in my opinion). Regular Raikou has three completely different primary colors going on—yellow, blue, and purple—which makes it pretty busy. Shiny Raikou reduces it down to only two by swapping the blue for a neutral gray, and uses a complimentary yellow and orange. It's very easy to tell apart from the original as well, and the orange still seems fairly lightning-y and works with it being vaguely tiger-like. Good stuff.
Entei: Entei's shiny looks fine, but unlike Raikou I think it's a bit too similar to the original. The swap from red to gray is good, but that's a minor accent color so it's still somewhat subtle. Other than that, the underbelly is now brown instead of cream and the eyes, mane, and coat colors have all been very subtly tweaked. The colors look fine and it's not 100% indistinguishable, but you'd be forgiven if you didn't realize this was a shiny at first glance.
I feel like they could've made the coat more red—Entei's original GS sprites were red and would make logical sense, given that it's a fire-type. That, combined with the other tweaks, would've helped.
Suicune: Suicune is more noticeable than Entei because it makes the entire mane a deep blue to contrast with the non-shiny's purple. Much like Raikou, I actually like this better than the original and it's easy enough to tell the two apart at a glance—plus it makes thematic sense. However, I do think the body is a bit underwhelming, as it's just a bit lighter than normal Suicune's.
It feels like they could've taken the opportunity to push it more—maybe make it more of a purple or true blue instead of cyan to compliment the dark blue mane. This isn't a huge deal though, as like I said it's still easy to differentiate regardless.
Overall: Raikou's shiny is the best of the three, as it both looks really good and has plenty of contrast with the original. Entei's shiny looks fine but is a little bit too subtle, and Suicune's shiny is better than Entei's but still could've been just a little more distinct. Still, pretty decent shinies as a whole.

Atticus: Pretty good, gotta say. Might even go as far to say it's the breast thing that ever happened to me!
