Don’t imagine how Kaz would’ve reacted if Inej had died.
Don’t imagine him watching as the life faded from her eyes and she went home to her Saints.
Don’t imagine him doing anything he could to keep her there and refusing to believe that she died because ‘She’s the Wraith. She can do anything.’
Don’t imagine him trying to hold himself together while the others are around him, not sure if they should comfort him or leave him be.

I absolutely adore Leigh Bardugo’s books, especially Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom. The quotes that you can find there are really deep and meaningful, especially Inej’s Suli proverbs.
