It's Father's Day, it's Sunday and it's hot. I've already taken Dad his tribute, a rechargable battery for his cordless weed whacker. We got that for him a few years ago and it's still his favorite summer toy. This way he can play with it as long as he wants. Don't judge, the man is impossible to shop for because he won't tell you what he wants/needs. I do the best I can with the information available to me. Yes I'm aware he's bundled up like a crazy man in this heat. He's stubborn and I'm not fighting with him. Sometimes you just have to pick your battles. I still love him dearly. It's warm enough today that I'm not even going to mess with the gardens till it cools off at bit, it's porch life for Sammy and I today. I've got a cold drink, a good book, my fan going and my little tiny swimming pool to dip my toes in, so I'm good. Normally Edgar would be here too but he had to take his monthly Comfortis this morning and he's still mad about it. He'll come out when he's over it or hungry. I'm betting on hungry, he'll likely be miffed for days. Have a beautiful day my friends and Happy Father's Day to all of you who are Dads or fill that role in any capacity.
