Soooo this post was inspired by one of my close friends. She's in a long distance relationship & was explaining how different sex feels with her new man. Now let me preface this and say
*not everyone will experience this synastry the same, that's okay these are just MY OWN obseervations. Ive been studying this for a few years now and so far - it tracks lol*
❤️🔥Mars-Venus Aspects❤️🔥
✨ Conjunction, Trine, or Sextile: These aspects show natural attraction and sexual chemistry. Mars represents passion, while Venus represents love and desire. You can find yourself becoming so intensely attracted to your partner. It's something we astrologers always look for, if you have these, you most certainly will know it by how your body reacts to that person being around you.
✨ Square or Opposition: These can indicate tension that manifests as fiery, passionate attraction but may need effort to balance. So yes, you will want to tear their clothes off every time you interact, but it can also be like unnecessary fights & explosive fights. You will need a sexual outlet.
❇️Mars-Mars Aspects❇️
✨ If Mars in both charts forms a harmonious aspect (e.g., trine or sextile), you may share similar sexual energy levels and desires. Which can lead to wanting the sex at the same time or being on the same page about what makes you feel good in the bedroom.
😍 Mars-Pluto Aspects😍
✨ This is a powerful placement for deep, transformative, and intense sexual attraction. I looooooveeeee seeing this one in couples charts. If you've felt like you can't explain why your body tingles around them, why you can't stop thinking about them? Why you're always wanting to be near them. You possibly have Mars - Pluto. The connection can feel magnetic and almost fated.
💋 Venus-Pluto Aspects💋
✨These aspects create an obsessive, passionate attraction. I say obsessive bc Pluto is involved. It can be healthy though, depending on how you express your obsessions. Like....don't stalk them, but be open about how they make you crave the. There’s often a deep emotional and physical bond that feels irresistible.
🧡Moon-Mars Aspects🧡
✨ The Moon represents emotions and Mars represents physical drive, so these aspects indicate a connection that blends emotional intimacy with sexual passion. I already did an entire post describing this connection in detail, so make sure you visit that one here:
💙Venus-Mars in Each Other's Houses💙
✨ When one partner's Venus or Mars falls into the other's 5th (romance), 7th (partnership), or 8th (sexual intimacy) houses, it can signify strong attraction and sexual compatibility.
💕 Sun-Mars Aspects💕
✨ Harmonious aspects (e.g., trine or sextile) between the Sun and Mars often indicate a strong physical connection. Challenging aspects can create a dynamic but exciting sexual tension. I like Sun & Mars bc sometimes it can feel invigorating & exciting when relationships seem to get dull. You'll always find the other person just enough of a challenge to keep your enticed.
💋Moon-Pluto Aspects💋
✨ This aspect creates emotional intensity and a deep, transformative connection that often translates into a passionate physical bond. I have sen this play out several times and it can be a beautiful bond that only you two will understand. So much so that you may even be willing to try new sexual things w this person, taboo sexual exploration. As long as the emotional connection is being satisfied, you will do anything to please your partner sexually.
❤️🔥Eros and Psyche (433 & 16)❤️🔥
✨Eros (sexual desire) and Psyche (soulful love) aspects in synastry can reveal where deep sexual and emotional compatibility exists.
💛 North Node Conjunct Venus or Mars💛
✨This placement suggests a karmic or destined connection where the partners help each other grow, often through romantic or sexual experiences. The friend I was inspired to make this post bc of this has this with her man. His NN is conjunct her Venus. she's expressed many times how his love feels like it is healing her, forcing her to grow as a divine feminine. I love this one, it also leads to sexual healing.
💕Bonus: 8th House Synastry💕
When one person’s planets fall into the other’s 8th house, it often triggers themes of intimacy, transformation, and sexual magnetism.
These placements and aspects don't guarantee compatibility, but they can highlight areas of potential connection and attraction. Always look at the full synastry chart for a holistic view!
Disclaimer: These are just my observations. If they don't resonate with you, simply read and move on. Additionally, most of what I’m saying here is based on straight relationship patterns. That’s because, in my experience, certain planets and points (like Mars, Venus, Eros, etc.) tend to act a bit differently depending on whether they show up in charts for women or men. That being said, the astro tea can still apply across all kinds of dynamics—it just might look a little different depending on the people involved. Let's start then!
Juno-Moon conjunctions usually point to marriage. Doesn’t really matter if it’s the guy or the girl who has Juno. Even if the conjunction is up to 8 degrees apart, it still seems to count. Honestly, sometimes just having Juno and the Moon in the same sign is enough. I don’t get why some people insist it has to be under 5 degrees…
I also notice Lilith conjunctions show up a lot in long-term relationships. People have a hard time letting go of that Lilith person. But it needs to go both ways—if both people have Lilith connections with each other, it works. If only one person does, it usually turns into a one-sided obsession.
One more big thing for lasting relationships: positive Saturn aspects in synastry. Especially Venus-Saturn. Those can make things last way longer than you’d expect. But here’s the catch—if the Saturn aspects are only positive, it can start to feel like you’re stuck in the relationship. Like, even if it’s time to move on, it’s hard to let go. That’s why it’s actually better to have a mix of good and bad Saturn aspects. But yeah, more good than bad if you want to stay together and not lose your mind.
Chiron-Mars conjunction sucks—especially if the guy is the Mars person. You know how women usually expect the guy to take action or make moves? Yeah, well, when the woman’s Chiron is conjunct the guy’s Mars, his actions—or lack of action—tend to hurt her a lot. And when the guy gets angry, the woman will get hurt a lot by his actions/lack of actions during the fight. Great times.
Sun-Venus aspects in synastry are super important in relationships. It’s better if the aspect is a positive one. Also, progressed charts count too—but just for a limited time. Once the conjunction vibe fades, so does the magic. And in progressed synastry, keep the orb tight—3 degrees max. Here’s a an example: say your partner’s progressed Venus is conjunct your natal Sun. That means their taste, what they find beautiful, and what they’re drawn to... it all lines up with you. Like, you’re literally their type. In this dynamic, the Sun person (aka you, probably) kinda takes the lead, and Venus is like “yes king, shine your light.”
When Mars and Sun conjunct in synastry, it’s hot—but if the woman is the Mars person? It’s like she sees the guy and thinks, “Yes. Him.” And everyone else is like, “...Really?” lol She’s drawn to his core vibe, his essence.
Asteroids are often underrated when it comes to synastry, but honestly? Eros and Psyche aspects hit different. Especially when Eros is the guy and Psyche is the girl. It’s giving “the body finds its soul” energy. When these two connect in a positive way—like a sextile, trine, or even a conjunction—it creates this deep, almost spiritual bond. Personally, I’ve only experienced the sextile, and even that felt more meaningful than any of my other relationships. I can’t even imagine what the trine or conjunction would feel like. Couples who have these aspects are very lucky.
When Saturn and Moon connect in a positive way, it’s like emotional stability enters the chat. Saturn, the responsible one, steps in and says, “I got you,” and Moon believes it. Saturn brings that “I’m not going anywhere” energy, and the Moon loves that. This is seriously one of those aspects that helps a relationship stay solid when things get messy.
12th house Venus experience is interesting. It’s always like “Does that person like me or not?”. You cannot be sure about their true feelings towards you. Even when they try to show affection, it just creates more confusion. You’ll be sitting there like, “Okay… he brought me coffee… but does that mean he loves me? Or is he just polite? Or is this coffee a metaphor for rejection?” Lol That person can’t show you his love to you in a clear way. Either you just feel that they love you deep down… or you’ll never fully get it on a conscious level.
If you’ve got your South Node sitting in the 7th house and someone’s personal planets conjunct it… buckle up. That person is gonna feel like home, a soft hoodie for your soul. It’s so cozy and familiar. Letting go of them? Not happening. At least not in your mind. You might know it's not perfect or even healthy, but the connection hits that nostalgic part of your brain that makes you think, “They came back for me. Like we planned.”
That's it for today, guys! Hope you like it, see ya!
Hi everyone, I'm back!! I've more experience with these synastry placements below.
Sun Conjunction Venus Synastry
The Sun person sees the Venus person so charming & sweet like the Sun's number one loving fan. The Sun feels so good because there is someone who admires them for themselves. Venus loves the Sun for who they are & wants to adopt the Sun's traits (styles, manners, personality, etc.) to her own. Venus can act like a Taurus here as Taurus loves to possess what they value, so Venus wants to be someone like the Sun. They avoid getting mad at each other.
Moon Conjunction/Trine/Sextile Venus synastry
If you have these aspects with someone, congratulations, you will feel so good together no matter what kinds of relationships. The Moon feels Venus understand them at a fundamental level. Venus can act like the Moon's therapist. Venus always adds sweetness to any contacts she has. Venus loves the Moon's emotions & expressions as they understand where the Moon's feelings coming from. Venus wants to protect the Moon from getting hurt. Venus can see the Moon's vulnerabilities so adorable & pure. The Moon thinks Venus as the most forgiving person in the world like a literal angel by their side. These aspects add a more spiritual touch than Sun/Venus synastry & are closest to "unconditional love".
Venus Conjunction Ascendant synastry
I've experienced it & it's true how strong this aspect is. This is the love of first sight aspect. The Ascendant is instantly the Venus person's type. Venus constantly compliments the Ascendant's look & manners. They're so sweet to each other just like any Venus's nice aspects in synastry. The Ascendant feels so loved by Venus. Venus sees the Ascendant like their "trophy" partner & is so proud they bag the Ascendant.
Saturn in the 2nd house synastry/composite
Pls if you already have low self-esteem, this placement will make it worse. With good aspects this placement can teach you about finance, saving & investments & those are the only good things I see. The bad sides are that you may struggle to make money & often worry about money together. You feel worse being with each other as if you're undervalued & feel less pretty than you're normally are. I imagine this placement as if when a woman becomes a mom, she doesn't have time to take care of herself, so she looks worse than her younger self. Not my cup of tea in romantic relationships.
Jupiter in the 2nd house synastry/composite
Baby, go get that bag!! I'm serious. You feel so good together because the Jupiter can see what the 2nd house values. The 2nd house's ideas to make money will be appreciated by Jupiter. Jupiter wants to treat the 2nd house nice things just like Venus in the 2nd house synastry. The 2nd house usually got ignored in synastry/composite but it's about your self worth & values so it feels especially good with Venus & Jupiter here as they make you feel rich, pampered & abundant which is so rare as we don't usually feel like we're rich or enough as an individual in this economy.
Venus in the 2nd house synastry/composite
Similar to Jupiter 2nd house, Venus wants to beautify the 2nd house & make them feel good about themselves. They can give the 2nd house beauty tips like a beauty guru gives their customers advice. The 2nd house feels more beautiful & if they're a man, they notice & appreciate their beauty & feminine side more. Their love language is gift giving.
Saturn in the 6th house synastry
I've experienced this synastry as a Saturn person & let me tell you I care so much for the 6th house's health & well being. I feel like I may annoy the 6th house person, but from my good intention. Saturn can remind the 6th house to take their med daily, pay attention to their diets, etc. I don't think it's a bad placement as long as there're cooperation & appreciation to each other.
Moon square Moon synastry
I already mentioned before, but I don't advise bad aspects to Moon in synastry because Moon is literally your soul, safe haven, most vulnerable side, etc. If Moon has a bad aspect in synastry, it can make you feel like your partner can't accept you for who you are unconditionally when you're the weakest & most bare with nothing to return. This aspect is annoying even though it's not particularly violent. They bother each other, always at each other's wrong timings, & lots of misunderstanding.
Example: Scorpio Moon square Leo Moon in synastry
Scorpio moon may see Leo moon as self-centered, shallow & childish when what Scorpio Moon wants is someone to understand them deeply while Leo moon wants to have fun & unserious emotionally. Scorpio may side eye Leo a lot. Leo doesn't want to be down & depressed by Scorpio's moodiness. Scorpio & Leo Moons function at the opposite state of emotions (fun vs. sadness, shallowness vs. depth, etc.) to feel fulfilled, so they automatically clash with each other. What makes one person feel happy is rejected by the other.
Juno Conjunction North Node synastry
This is a big sign of long-term commitment! Juno instantly wants to commit with the North Node. The North Node person feels a sense of personal growth when they're together. They help build their own purposes as a couple. This aspect feels fated.
Eros Conjunction Juno synastry
Eros sees Juno as a loyal partner. The quality of a Juno person turns Eros on. Juno brings a sense of stability while Eros brings passion. They will never get tired of each other. A passionate commitment.
What placements would you say in synastry show that a woman is a man’s dream girl?
I'd check his Venus first. Venus = love and beauty. If his Venus conjuncts her Ascendant, even better. That's a "love at first sight" aspect, although it can be a bit superficial.
I also think these aspects (mostly conjunctions, but trines, sextiles, squares, and oppositions can be good, too) work well with each other:
Sun/Moon
Sun/Venus
Venus/Mars
Venus/Jupiter
Venus/Pluto (careful with this! the sexual chemistry will be hard to resist)
Moon/Mars
Moon/Jupiter
Moon/Pluto
Conjunctions are strongest, while trines and sextiles make for smooth sailing. Squares and oppositions can cause tension, but, depending on the placement, this isn't always a bad thing. I mean, imagine the sexual tension with a Venus/Mars or Venus/Pluto square. Whew! 🥵
Planets in the 1st, 4th, 5th, 7th, or 8th houses are the most common in dream person synastry.
I'm going to add 2nd house synastry because while it can cause possessiveness, it's not necessarily toxic possessiveness. It's like, "This is my person. I don't want anyone else to have them." It's great because you can feel secure and safe with this person, like they're your rock.
I'm also going to add 12th house synastry here, too, even though people argue about whether it's good or not. If you have Pisces or water placements, the 12th house could be a really deep, psychic connection. It's also considered to be the house of karma and soulmates. But some people hate the feeling of the 12th house, so the experience is entirely subjective.
I also like looking at asteroids, such as Valentine, Eros, Psyche, Cupido, and Union, especially Sun and Venus conjunct Valentine, Eros conjunct Psyche, Cupido conjunct Cupido, and Union conjunct Union.
If you have your Ascendant or Descendant conjunct your person's Ascendant or Descendant, this can feel like you two have known each other all your lives and have so much in common. This can be a very intense, magnetic pull when these axes line up. ASC/MC and DSC/IC are also good.
Lastly, at the beginning of this post, I talked about the Venus/ASC aspect, but Venus conjunct Descendant is just as potent. Specifically, if another person's Venus conjuncts your Descendant, they're exactly your type. Venus/ASC is more of a physical attraction, while Venus/DSC can feel much deeper and that person is exactly your type. It's a bonus if you or your person's Venus is in the 7th house conjunct the Descendant.
What are your thoughts on 8th house stellium synastry (sun, moon and venus)?
Hey🌸
I'm good and you?
8th house stellium in synastry
Sun in 8th house- here, the bright luminary has entered the house of deep and dark things. Sun belongs up in the sky but it also goes down when the night comes up this when the sun meets the themes of 8th house. Here both people bring the intensity out of the other whether good or bad. The sun usually finds 8th house person pretty bright, happy, powerful, intimidating, arrogant and selfish while the 8th house person finds the sun emotional, deep, secretive, passionate, liar, hypocrite. these two are super protective of each other, ego clashes are possible both the parties are in a run to assert their power over the other and the relationship. These two get really competitive together.
Moon in 8th house- here the emotions run deep really deep , the moon person here embraces their own truamas and allow the 8th house person to heal them while the 8th house person feels cared for here. The house person respects the moon and adimers them too. Hence, the house person might take advices from the moon person about their investments, taxes, or other financial aspects. Where the house person's opinion on moon person's emotions and emotional connections matters alot. While these two might criticise eachother's investment choices alot. Might even make it a personal mission/competition to beat the other in monetary department.
Venus in 8th- the house person here becomes a comfort zone, a place where venus hides when the dark approaches, therefore the Venus person admires, cares and loves the house person venus see them as a symbol of strength the big secret keeper, while the house person feels a deep emotional connection with the Venus person, the House person sees venus as delicate, fragile, feminine and bright thus feeling a need to understand and harmonize with the venus person, which in return arises a feeling of belonging in the venus person, that overall calms venus down since they know that if not the world then the house person will listen to them and understand too. They might increase eachother's assets too.
Romantic take on stellium- if this synastry is specifically romantic then, these two people feel immense attraction towards each other, a magnetic pull that is hard to define, they'll also get a feeling that "they shouldn't feel this way,for the other person". Gift giving can be a love language here. They experience deep emotions ignited by the other, the effect will be soo strong that they either become the best lovers or the worst enemies. They tease eachother alot, the teasing is even sexually arousing. They don't have sex they make love, intense love. Many people find it unbearable because of the strong themes and emotions here, but if the people involved are mature enough to handle it then you'll have a connection like no other which has the potential to last till you last.
personal observation and experience- If the water signs are in the mix then these two people might even develop a telepathic connection, the type where, one senses the emotions of the other without even saying anything or saying the same thing at the same time, secretly being jealous of eachother, feeling a need to show the other how good you are, or how many achievements you got, getting serious on petty topics and laughing off together the most serious traumas. Healing each other and feeling the most comfortable around eachother knowing the deepest version of the other.🌸
I have been DJing and working on music for a bit, and I thought, why not make subliminals or audios that help you with manifestation and energy blockages? So here is my first trial at mixing the sun and venus sounds to heal your love life and help you manifest!
You can use it as a meditation sound, or have it play in the background while you manifest anything concerning love, abundance and inner magic. This can also heal any venus-sun aspect in your natal, synastry or composite!
I've learned a bit more about synastry through my own experience and observations from people's charts.
❄️ I won't recommend Moon Square Moon synastry with anyone as we're like on different wavelengths all the time. We definitely had different childhoods. We don't get each other, don't listen, talk over each other, have totally different hobbies, food preferences, humors, etc. You usually have to overexplain your point that it can be annoying and exhausting *eye rollings 🙄*. It still works if you make it work (and depends on the whole chart), but the emotional connection feels flat to me.
❄️ On the other hand, idk if it's just my personal experience, but Moon Opposition Moon synastry feels like we're different but harmonically complete each other (kinda like 7th house synastry). They're like the other half I need emotionally.
❄️ Venus square Saturn synastry can be a red flag 🚩i'd avoid, but we need to check the dignity of their personal planet(s) to see how bad they are. I have this aspect with someone, and at time I feel unvalued or ignored as a Venus person (the intensity depends on the whole synastry chart), but with time, I've realized they gave me good advice and helped me be more responsible. I probably was entitled, spoiled, and immature in the past. Their natal Saturn is in dignified Aquarius. This aspect can manifest as Saturn wants to save money while Venus wants to spend on pleasure. Sometimes, it's not entirely Saturn faults.
❄️ I know someone's therapist has their Chiron conjunct the person's Sun. I guess Chiron synastry doesn't have to be bad in some cases.
❄️ Moon conjunct Pluto synastry, and you guys just lock 🔐 eyes with each other. There's gonna be a LOT of stares. You just get each other by looking at the other person's eyes. Just one look, eyes' communications, as they see through your soul 👀. Deepest emotional connection.
❄️ Moon in the 4th house synastry makes the 4th house person feel safe in the Moon's presence. You can talk about literally anything, dump your whole childhood traumas, and the Moon accept you for who you are. This aspect doesn't feel intense like Moon conjunct Pluto synastry but peaceful.
❄️ Venus/Sun synastry can see each other as beautiful, just like Venus 1st house/Ascendant synastry. The bonus point is Venus also likes and admires the Sun's personality and confidence, not only just looks like 1st house or Ascendant synastry.
❄️ We already knew this with Moon conjunct Mars synastry. The Mars person is gonna chase the Moon person, and they both like this dynamic. The Moon person may feel shy and vulnerable in front of Mars person's direct and rapid moves, but they also secretly feel admired. The Mars asks, and the Moon softly answers. Mars has never seen someone as beautiful and feminine as Moon. This aspect is even deeper than Venus conjunct Mars synastry. I heard one astrology YouTuber compared the difference, like Mars would find Moon beautiful even with their non-makeup morning bare face while Venus'd like to dress themselves up to attract Mars.
❄️ I love 3rd house synastry. We love talking and joking with each other. There's no judgments or boring moments (may change with heavy planets like Saturn or Chiron 3rd house). It's more of a friendly placement as there's no physical attraction, but it's fun to hang out with people you have 3rd house overlay. Topics can revolve around trivial, everyday stuff, gossips or just nonsense.
❄️ Imo Sun synastry feels more superficial than Moon synastry. It depends on people's preferences, of course. Sun synastry gives you more energy while Moon gives emotional connections.
When Venus and Jupiter link up in synastry, it’s like the universe has sprinkled a little extra magic on the connection. ✨ This placement is all about good vibes, joy, and abundance in your relationship. Think: a bestie-meets-lover type of energy that feels uplifting and expansive.
Venus, the planet of love and beauty, adores Jupiter’s generosity and optimism. Jupiter, in turn, loves how Venus brings warmth, harmony, and a little extra sparkle to the table. Together, they create a bond that feels larger than life—big love energy! 💕
The Vibes Are Immaculate
With this synastry, it’s soooo easy to just enjoy each other. There’s laughter, shared indulgence (hello, romantic dinners 🍷🍰), and a natural sense of fun. The Jupiter person might feel like they can’t help but shower the Venus person with compliments, gifts, or just a whole lotta love. Venus eats this up, thriving in the glow of Jupiter’s expansive energy.
Watch Out For This... I have this placement with my man & y'all, I can honestly say that my Jupiter touched his Venus and magnified all of my love feelings. I can tell everything about his love, ignites me in a way that has me floating on a cloud. ☁️💖✨ It is so easy to get caught up in the rush of sudden explosive energy.
Too much of a good thing. Yup, this aspect can lean towards overindulgence or excess. You might hype each other up a little too much, skipping over important details because the vibes are just so good. 😅
Also, Jupiter’s big energy can sometimes overwhelm Venus. Jupiter may come on strong with grand gestures, and Venus might feel like things are moving a bit fast—or like expectations are sky-high. Keep communication open, and don’t forget to ground this dreamy energy in reality.
Since this is a great aspect to have for long term relationships, treat this sacred. This Synastry is not to be played with, I truly believe this is divine when I see this connection in two charts. 🌌💕
