Soooo how we feeling phan nation?
We wrap ourselves in towels and sit in the soak of the summer,
While I secretly hope it never dries us out.
The rocks and the crash of the waves bring me to my youth,
And your company keeps me anchored.
Oh, Ocean breeze
Please never seize.

My laughter gags me.
The collar compressing my vocal cords when I try to leave the yard.
I am chained to a fence of isolation,
And my happiness rises and fades with the tide.
The yellow shine of joy poisons my insides,
For they are not familiar with the Stars.
Broken glass doesn't taste as good as I'd hoped,
But the orange grooved cup made the nerves in my hands hum, and I craved the song.
My mother always told me to never fall asleep by the pool,
But I've found myself waking to the iridescent glares of the midday.
My body is supine.
Too much sunshine, Clementine.

Let the sun hold your hand home and lay you in
The meadow from which you were created,
And I will follow the falling light to the creek in
Which we played.
I hold you in my heart,
And I hold you in my mind–
And I hold you in every breath that I may
Struggle to find.
In another life, we are sitting on
Edoda's porch with a bundle of red dead nettles
And a lack of worry.
I didn't have you here for long enough,
Although a thousand years still would have been
Too soon.
I have only breathed for you, and now
I will survive for you.

Sing me to sleep
And when I'm off in your arms
I pray to right something wrong

The way the sun glares split under water when you look up and you're no longer at home, but at the beach swimming gently above the sand bar and watching the waves push the light above you; everything is okay for a while before your head breaches the surface again
Seeing the reflection of home on the surface of a calm water. Everytime my hands swim towards it, I am only disrupting the connection and home scatters away from my touch again and again.
